“Impressed. with hotel.”

“Very good value”
This hotel represents excellent value for money. It is a short walk to the city centre (free map provided by the hotel) and the staff are very helpful. The food in the restaurant is good and the service is prompt and friendly. The restaurant and terrace have good views overlooking the Mersey. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are well-equipped. The ensuite bathrooms are quite small but are perfectly adequate. There are good parking facilities with disabled bays. The hotel is generally quiet although there is some traffic noise from a nearby main road. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
“Comfortable and friendly.”
We would definitely stay here again. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy and the location is a good one. You can walk to the Albert Dock area or to downtown.
“Inexpensive handy hotel”
Great hotel, worth the price. The only thing that took us aback was there was no telphone in the room, and continential bfast is not included.
“Excellant value for money”
This hotel had eveything we needed and was in walking distance of all the sights. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room small but had all the things we needed. Only thing we could criticise was the mattress, wasn't very comfortable but otherwise couldn't complain about anything. The breakfast was really good value for money. don't know how they do it at that price! The continental had so much choice you didn't need cooked. Even had fresh fruit which included strawberries. Nice view of water from breakfast room. We took two relatives with us who usually book into expensive hotels. They were so impressed with this hotel for the money they paid that they are using it again.If you want a phone or lift don't use it. Ideal place if you are out and about and not wanting to sit in your room. Oh yes, the bar is good too and they have free newspapers which we perused when we got in.Even a corkscrew in the room! Will definitely use again if we go back to Liverpool.
“cheap and cheerful”
The Dolby Hotel is good value for money, clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. The bathroom is rather small but does the job for a short stay. Well placed for the waterfront and Albert Docks with free secure parking. Very quiet on sunday night, could be noisy fri/sat with hen/stag parties! Reasonable price breakfast and drinks at the bar. Pleasantly surprised, for a budget hotel plenty of tea and coffee provided plus shampoo etc. and fluffy white towels.

Me and my mum was extreamely satisfied with this hotel, as it was only for a few days, and met r requirement for the days we stayed there!! When people say the ensuite is small, this is actually very true!! It is like the toilet on an aeroplane! But as i say it met our requirement for the few days we stayed there. The staff were also very friendly
“Best Value for money and Service!”
If you are looking for a value for money, friendly, clean and efficient hotel to stay in then I cannot recommend the Dolby enough! The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the room was clean bright and comfortable. It was a perfect location for the city centre and all the local attractions. We will come back next year!

About a 10 minute walk to Liverpool one, perfect for a cheap weekend away.
