I always stay at this hotel when I’m down in Liverpool from London. The hotels are clean, the location is not far from the city centre and the customer service is 10/10. I have zero complaints and would very much recommend other visitors to choose this hotel for their stay

Clean and cosy.
The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom and room looked clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was warm and there was a heater if required. For a double room there was not much space to move around in however it was nicely decorated.

Nice hotel
Excellent value for money in very good location, I had a basement double room with good size bed, room was clean and tidy. Reception staff were very nice and friendly and I would definitely use this hotel again.

Amazing location just by the royal philarmonic in the cultural quarter, 5 minutes walk to all the major sights, very clean rooms and friendly staff.

Clean & safe budget style accomodation
Cocoon is located opposite St Lukes Bombed out cathedral on the opposite side and up about 500 yds. Reception is of a hostel type albeit the staff were very friendly & helped us book a taxi back to the Airport. (Yeah we tried Uber too!) Room was a bit small - very comfy bed & lovely clean bathroom wit great shower. Its not the 5 star Ritz but you ain't paying 5 star prices either. Luggage storage cost £1 per bag but was safely stored away from reception in a locked room. Recommended for its value.

I loved the apartment it was beautiful,massive,very clean brand new kitchen with everything you need like home from home,also very peaceful it wasnt in the heart of Liverpool which is a good thing as its very noise there but it was about a 10 minute walk to town centre,they also have lots of bars around the hotel were youcan go they closed at 12,i would definitely book here again it was so cheap for the room we had couldn't believe it

Clean room and bathroom . Comfortable bed. It didn't matter to me that the room had no window as I found I slept better. Great location. 5 minutes walk to the interesting Bold St. restaurants and shops. Also easy to walking to shopping centre and sights. A good stay.

The young woman at reception was very pleasant. However, even though a small fan was going continuously while we were in the room, we found it sweaty and claustrophobic. We were aware it had no windows, but the room was much smaller than the picture indicated - this is what we had based our decision on. Personally, the only thing I liked about it, was that the shower was pretty good.

Racing weekend
Recently decorated ..we were the first to stay in our apartment..spacious, spotless, central to the city and was very well equipped. We will definitely stay again for grand national weekend next year.

The double superior room we booked certainly did not feel superior, it was very small and cramped, the bathroom light kept going on and off and the cleanliness was not great and the towels smelt. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the bed was comfy, but I would not stay here again even though it was cheap.

Never again!!
Absolutely awful. Booked a basement single room for 2 nights. When I discovered the tv wasn’t working it was too late to speak to anyone on reception so didn’t have a functioning TV. The ventilation system is unbelievably loud to the point I never slept. Managers replied saying the tv was working when it blatantly wasn’t. Went the next morning to reception and still nobody there so I checked out after 1 night.

HI There,The TV was working any member of staff could have sorted it for you on the night of your stay. We have a 24 hours reception, there is always someone here to help. If they are not at reception they will be helping another guest we sleep 200 people ! Your review is unfair as you can see from the most others on here. Kind RegardsNatasha Manager
