“great value and location”

Very clean and comfortable, great value for the price! Excellent location for shopping and restaurants! Close to downtown Little Rock.

“Will stay there again”

Hotel was good. Reasonable rates,clean, nice breakfast. Will stay there again should I need to visit the Little Rock area again.

We had no problems whatsoever. The staff was friendly and helpful.Breakfast was adequate. It was a place I would stay again. Quiet at night..elevator clean and prompt.

“Employees/staff make the difference”

I stayed at this hotel twice in a one-week span (coming and going from the home of a relative) and it is a classic example of how an employee/staff can make the difference. The first night, the lady at the counter was very attentive, even shifting my room to accomodate for my dogs. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast the next day looked fresh and inviting. The second night, the lady at the counter was completely unattentive. She was on the phone talking to a friend (based on the, "I gotta go, someone's here," when I stood there for a minute starting to fill out the pet paperwork on my own) completely ignoring the fact that I was standing there waiting for a room. She was curt with an "you interrupted me" attitude and little regard to the needs of the guest or the hotel paperwork, which she had me fill out differently from the first night I stayed. The room was acceptable but had clearly not been vacuumed as I found trash and a pink pill (prescription?) under the sink area. I would think that any hotel would take care to vacuum along the edges but especially one that allows pets. Breakfast the next morning was good. I'd like to give this hotel a higher rating because I like the La Quinta brand and appreciate their pet-friendly policies, however the high variation of my experiences just does not warrant top marks. I hope they are able to remedy some of their practices as I would like to continue to use then on my travels to/from my relative's home.

My wife and I stayed here on a Tuesday night on the rooms that are on the back side of the hotel. This is also where the hotel dumpster is located. About 4:15 AM on the next morning, Waste Management came to pick up the dumpster. The noise was so loud we flew out of bed thinking someone had hit our truck. I am sure the guy woke everyone up on that side of the building. When I asked the girl at the front desk the next day about it, she said that there is nothing they could do which I disagree with. Waking hotel guests up at 4:15 in the morning to pick up trash is unacceptable. Bottom line, don't stay there on Tuesdays or Thursdays unless you like waking up real early. Or if you can get a room on the front side of the building, I think you would be ok.
