“Pleasant experience”
Good location. Nice breakfast and extremely knowgeable and friendly staff.
“Great value for money, would recommend”
Really fab little place to stay. Really friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Room was ideal and just what we needed. It really is only a 15-20 min walk until you are in the centre of the city and it's lovely to walk along all the pretty streets.
“residencial Princesa”
Excellent rapport qualité/prix.
“Value for money hotel”
The hotel is good value for money. We walked to and from town most days but it is a stiff walk and you need to be fairly fit. The hotel staff spoke English and were helpful. Breakfasts were adequate with a small range of cereals, cheese and ham, rolls, dry croissants and toast. It was very crowded and difficult to get a table at 8:30 although much easier 15 minutes either side of that. There is no restaurant which was a bit of a nuisance on the first night but there are adequate places to eat in the vicinity. The rooms were comfortable although I found the bed quite hard. I would be happy to return there again.
“Fine location....helpful staff.”
Location is superb. Two bus lines are literally steps away. There were a few maint. issues, but friendly staff dealt with them well. My luggage was lost for most of the trip, and staff was very helpful on that issue. Reasonable price with people who are professional and personable. Recommended.
“Une adresse où je retournerais”
Tout à fait correct et bon petit-déjeuner. Bonne adresse.
“I can recommend it!”
Inexpensive; great location (the Gomes Freire bus line has its last stop right outside the lobby and takes you downtown); cab from/to the airport should be around $10 (if you pay $15 you got ripped off); good breakfast buffet; quiet
“Good location”
Good location as the 790 bus stops outside the hotel. This bus takes you directly into the centre of town ready to start exploring the city. Fair size rooms, friendly staff. Travelling with a family of grown ups meant several trips in the lift with luggage as it is rather small. Nice small antique shops in the immediate vacinity and a couple of restaurants. Otherwise pop into town for all the restaurants, tourist attractions. Watch out for pickpockets, there are signs everywhere and can make the city a bit wary for those typical tourists walking around with maps, cameras, wallets etc on view. A lovely old city and so easy to get around. Buy a multi-day pass for the Metro and Carris and you can use all forms of transport for a few Euros per day, these being tram, bus, metro and get absolutely everywhere. The 15 tram goes to Belem to see the tower, well worth the visit and walk along the promenade and small boat harbour. Like most large cities, avoid the trams and Metro at rush hour.
“Résidential Princesa: bon à savoir”
Hôtel sympa et peu bruyant, situé à 10 mètres du bus 790 qui dessert le bas de la ville de Lisbonne (Place Martim Mouniz et son Tram n° 28, Gare de Caïs do Sodré pour train vers Bélem...). Réveil sympa et discret vers 7 heures par le clairon de la caserne militaire toute proche. Petit déjeuner correct.
“Fair hotel at a fair price”
Residencial Princesa was a clean, basic hotel for a basic price. The location was fairly good, about 15mins walk from the city centre, in a quiet street. The room was a little spartan and dated, but was comfortable, with a TV, decent bed, towels and toiletries, and a hot shower/bath. Reception apologised for any noise during refurbishments on my floor, but I did not notice any works. If you are looking for a budget hotel, I would recommend this establishment.
