“Excellent hotel”
Hotel tres bien situe au centre de Lisbonne dans une rue tres calme Petit dejeuner copieux et de qualite Chambre tres propre et le plus , la magnifique terrasse avec vue sur les toits de Lisbonne
“Great Hotel!”
Excellent Hotel in historic Alfama district. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to hel us with anything we needed. Food at the hotel was great and very reasonably priced. The room was clean and had a great view. Hotel is very close to major Lisbon's sights and downtown.

Hôtel très confortable avec une très plaisante terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur Lisbonne. Très bien situé mais il faut aimer grimper les côtes !
“Wonderful jewel in Lisbon”
The staff were very hospitable, had good local knowledge, the buffet breakfast was excellent and everyone was very accommodating including housekeeping. Our luggage went missing at the airport and the hotel made sure it was delivered to our room the next day, and supplied us with toiletries. Maps of the city were provided and information on ferries, the metro and trains to Sintra and Caiscias.

Wonderful small hotel. Service and staff were excellent.Lovely breakfast in the morning.Location was great- very close to the castle in the Alfama district. Tram stop was only a 5 minute walk away.
“Un hotel de charme dnas un quartier pittoresque”
Accueil attentif, disponibilité du personnel et des chambres agréables avec tout ce l'on attend d'un 4x. Le plus pour ce petit hotel ce sont les terrasses privées de la moitié des chambres où on peut prendre son apéro en regardant Lisbonne avec églises et monastères. Le seul bémol c'est l'accessibilité car l'hotel est sur une rue à flanc de montagne et il faut "grimper" pour retourner à notre chambre après le diner dans le centre -ville mais c'est très pittoresque...De toute évidence c'est le nouveau quartier à la mode à Lisbonne.
“Hotel Olissippo do Castelo”
Hôtel très agréable et confortable. Personnel très aimable. Jolie vue de la terrasse de notre chambre. Accès au centre ville facile grâce aux fameux trams 12 ou 28E ou même à pieds.
“Excellent hotel”
Excellent hotel, rooms and service very good. As a 4 star hotel it cannot be faulted. Only warning is that the hotel is situated just below Lisbon castle and so is on a hill. Hills in Lisbon have steps as they are steep. The shortest route has 180 steps from the city centre to the hotel plus some sloping bits so you need to be fairly fit or take a taxi. I would recommend a taxi from the airport as if you take the airport bus then you need to carry suitcases to the hotel.

suburb location felt very safe walking around got the full flavor of Lisbon great resturants close by a very good spot to hang your hat for several days
“Wonderful Hotel in a wonderful city”
Everything about Hotel Olissipo Castelo was wonderful. For starters, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in giving suggestions. The rooms were lovely. Very clean, decorated nicely and large in comparision to most European hotel rooms. The location was great. Good restraunts and historical sights were nearby. Some rooms have large balconies where you can sit in the sun and enjoy the view & vino which is a big plus. I would stay there over and over again.
