“Good Location!”

Small rooms, but comfortable. Walking distance from the main attractions. Situated next door from the Canadian ambassy, on a beautiful avenue full of trees...very Nice! Lots of shopping around too for those interested. Would stay there again for sure.

“Great place - small and cozy”

Great hotel if you don't require a lot of amenities and you won't be spending too much time in your room. Very clean, good size rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

“Hotel Dom Sancho at Lisbon”

It is a very basic hotel, the rooms are very clean and the location is excellent. For people used to fancy hotels I wouldn't recommend it.

“Great location in central Lisbon”

This hotel is situated in a great location, convenient for walking to the various neighbourhoods of central Lisbon or with the metro and bus stops just down the road. The hotel was also clean and rather comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and even entertained my dodgy attempts at speaking portuguese! Breakfast wasn't included, but not bad value at 5 euros (although we only had the breakfast one morning as there are plenty of bakeries nearby to grab a cup of coffee and a pastry.) Lisbon is a beautiful city and I look forward to returning some day. I would definitely recommend this hotel as being good value for money

“Nice Stay”

Had a nice stay here for three nights last week. Hotel is on the second floor and our room was on the fifth floor so using the lift was essential! Room was a reasonable size and nice and clean, we couldnt get the air con to work but that was probably us and anyway we didn't really need it. Hotel was very well situated close to the Metro and not far from the bars and resturants. All in all a good stay at a nice hotel.

“Great experience overall”

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Dom Sancho for four nights at the end of a two-week jaunt threw Lisbon and Cascais. We were pleasantly surprised by the neatness of the hotel. The location is fantastic, just across the street from the Avenida metro stop and a twenty minute stroll down tree-lined Avenida Independencia to Baxia-Chiado. The price was right, and with breakfast included. Our one critique is the maid staff, who neglected to change our sheets on a day when some dirt or soot had blown into our room. But the front desk was very attentive to our concern about the matter and found us clean sheets right away.
