“Lisbon Holiday Inn Continental”
Good location, close to metro. Breakfast and lunch were very good. Staff at reception, bar area and restaurant very helpful. Good view from room.
“Great Hotel for this Canadian Girl Travelling Alone”
I wasn't in the hotel long as I was travelling alone and needed a room overnight along my journey. I checked in quite late and the guest staff were super friendly. They spoke limited English and there was a bit of a language barrier as I spoke NO Portuguese, but they were willing to try to understand me and they made my stay very comfortable. The room was in fabulous condition, I was very happy with EVERYTHING. They gave me a wake up call and had my cab ready at 5 a.m. as asked for in my pathetic Portuguese and their limited understanding of English. Great hotel overall.

great room and well kept up; general service was spotty: sometimes very good, sometimes not. very little near here... the restaurant is good, but you have to take a taxi downtown to get much selection or interesting things to walk to I'd use it again, for sure, expecting to get my food and services elsewhere (except for breakfast; really nice coffee shop)

“Good, but...”
The hotel is located not far from Camp Pequeno (a big mall but also a big bus stop), which has direct lines to Belem and to other fun areas in Porto. It's near a major street. It's walkable from the train station, but I don't really recommend it. The roads are huge and traffic is awful. They are very cheap in certain packages. Mine excluded breakfast and wireless. They wanted to charge 5 Euros a day for wireless...do not do it! There are usually unsecured networks open PLUS there's a pay-as-you go that you can log into that will be visible as you turn on your computer. This way you're not paying tons while you are out exploring. They say you get 2 free waters on day 1 and 1 on day 2, and I ran that by them at checkout and they still charged me. That just irks me. I'll probably dispute the charge. **Oh, the main reason why I chose this hotel was due to the "gym", which was a glorified hidden closet with 3 treadmills, a stationery bike, and a stair stepper, all of which are at least 20 years old. There are a lot of grocery stores nearby: I recommend you pick up some breakfast supplies there. Also, they do not lend out corkscrews (you need to go down to the bar to get a bottle opened).

Très bonnes prestations et agréable séjour dans l'hôtel. Le seul point négatif est le bruit des climatisations sur l'arrière (il faut mieux être sur l'avant et aux étages supérieurs)
