“Un certain charme désuet”
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce Palace au mobilier d'époque. Nous avions réservé une suite charmante avec de beaux tissus. Pas de vue dans la chambre mais en contre-partie un silence vraiment appréciable. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et très bon. L'hôtel est parfaitement bien situé en centre ville.
“Excellent location”
This hotel is very convenient for everything. It is near the tour buses and adjoins the station for trains to Sintra. There are loads of cafes and restaurants near by.

Hôtel très bien situé un exemple pour les hôteliers français qui devraient prendre exemple sur ce qu'il est possible de faire. Une seule remarque l'hôtesse d'acceuil devrait apprendre à recevoir un client.
“Elegant!”
This hotel was absolutely beautiful! Elegant truly describes it. Breakfast was abundant and delicious! We stayed one night and had to catch a flight in the morning. Wish we could have stayed longer. Service was outstanding.

“Luxury in Lisbon”
I have never looked forward so much to returning each evening, after a busy day sightseeing, to this elegant hotel, to relax with a drink in their beautiful lounge. Five star treatment from all the staff. Centrally situated, I found this hotel a most enjoyable experience.
“old world elegance”
The hotel is very historic appearing. A wonderful breakfast is served in an elegant large room with chandeliers. Rooms are compact but very comfortable and clean. Location is ideal for walking around old Lisbon. Staff were very professional.
“Hotel avenida palace: situation idéale en centre ville”
Excellent hotel, prix très compétitif pour un 5 étoiles. nous avons pris une junior suite avec un tarif expedia très interessant et avons été surclassé par l'hotelier en "executive suite" (catégorie au dessus). L'hotel est très bien situé en plein centre ville et pourtant calme (bon double vitrage!). Les décors de l'hotel sont superbes, les chambres décorées avec gout. Seul petit bémol: la salle de bain qui mériterait d'être rénovée et qui n'est pas à la hauteur du reste. Magnifique salle de restaurant et salons.
“Old Charm”
This is a charming, art deco hotel from the turn of the 19th century. It used to be THE place to stay in Lisbon. The interiors are gorgeous , especially in the sitting room downstairs and in the breakfast room. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and of reasonable size, especially for big European cities, but not outstanding. The concierge had very helpful touring and restaurant tips, one can rely on them. Buffet breakfasts were good. The hotel is perfectly located, I can't imagine a better location in Lisbon. In general, if you are into Hiltons and Sheratons of the world this might not be your cup of tea. If you like a place with a look and feel of grand, old European hotels this is the place for you in Lisbon (but remember that you are not in Paris).
“Very well located”
Hotel is located near center of town. Also next to "resturant row". We rented a junior suite that came with two bathrooms. Breakfast buffet was good and overall service was excellent. We will stay there again the next time we go to Lisbon. Warning: My wallet was stolen near the hotel by a expert "pick-pocket". I would not have know what happened if it had not been for a witness.
