“Very good hotel in fine location”

Near airport, train station, park, restaurants, movie theater, food store. Liquor store is just south of the hotel on north bound side of rte 1&9. Note that West Edgar Rd is Route 1 in Linden.

“Great Hotel near many amenities”

Hotel was very clean and current, location was great by lots of stores including target and also restaurants. Free shuttle service from airport (but you have to call first and it's about a 15 min journey). Very friendly staff. Hot breakfast buffet included and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Vacation travel with one child”

Received more than we expected during our stay. Nearby restaurants are great - especially Dragonfly. Very convenient to Linden NJT station for trips into NYC. Target store in same area made picking up forgotton items easy and convenient. Room was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was the usual great spread of food options.

“Excellent value”

This hotel is simple, but has everything a traveler could want for a short stay. Bed is comfortable, rooms are clean, breakfast is all you can eat, coffee is excellent.

“Great way to get into NY City”

We arrived in the morning, so our room was not ready yet, as we expected. But the front desk staff was very helpful, and arranged to take us by van to the NJ Transit station so we could go into NY. They gave us the telephone number to call them when we returned, and that evening they came and picked us up. We were concerned about where to meet them, but they gave expicit directions about that. (They do pick-ups from Newark Airport as well, we understand.) The neighborhood is city / light industrial, so there is no view out the windows, but our room was large, clean and everything looked nearly new. The breakfast was very good (self-serve) and had excellent variety. The dining area was large and kept clean. Coffee and tea was available in the lobby at all hours. All 4 or 5 of the front desk staff members with whom we had contact were very friendly and capable. Definitely recommend staying here and going into NYC by train if driving up from the south or flying into Newark.

“convient comfortable Newark area hotel”

I have stayed at a number of Hampton Inns and I am always pleased with them. The morning complementary breakfast fare is better than most any other hotel chains. This particular location is extremely convenient with numerous nearby restaurants and shopping. Very easy commute to Newark Airport.
