The hotel rooms were basic for what i thought was supposed to be a higher end hotel chain. Breakfast room was too packed and difficult to find a table. Inadequate number of staff on duty in there. Chef seemed unwilling to make omletes and when it came out it looked like scrambled eg Overall was very dissapointing stay

Radisson Blu never fails to impress
Such a great hotel in the right spot, in one of my favorite towns in europe. My 3rd stay here this year, had a low grade room this time, other than the couple next door having the session of their life, it was great. all you need, well appointed, staff are very helpful, parking is easy, access to town is effortless. Will return again for sure

Hotel is heel goed gelegen in het midden van het centrum, parking 16euro/dag onder het hotel Door corona was het ontbijt ondermaats, alles verpakt in papier,plastiek,... weinig keuze. ook niet mogelijk een omelet of spiegeleui te bestellen, zie niet in wat dit met corona te maken heeft

Positives: Location excellent - right next to large shopping area and many restaurants! Stunning Sky Lounge, beautiful to have a drink overlooking the city at night. Rooms were modern with every need catered for. Suggested areas for improvement - Shower grout discoloured. I find charging for a bottle of water in a hotel room to be excessive (personal opinion) many hotels provide this for free. Overall - Excellent stay, Location made it for us - but room was lovely and comfortable too so well done to all at Radisson Blu - we would def recommend

The staff is very accommodating. Hotel is situated towards the ring around city center. You can walk across the center in about 15 minutes. Close to multiple restaurants and bars. The Sky Bar staff is very good and they also have good food. If we come back to Hasselt we will stay there again.

I was stuck in the lifts 2 times. My room did not have a view. And the Air conditioning in the room was not working. Also we had an event in the hotel and projector was not working. No sound etc etc. We had so much disruptions and our guests complained. I would be grateful for a refund plesse.

Functional hotel
This is a large hotel in the centre of Hasselt. Check in and check out were slow as they one had one desk open. The strange lifts (you select the floor from outside the lift) were slow, maybe as one of the three was out of service. The room itself was OK, but nothing special. The lighting in the room was poor. Breakfast was OK, fairly standard for chain hotels in Belgium. Dinner was poor, mechanical unfriendly staff, slow service and bland food I'll choose a different hotel next time

Worth a visit
Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Lovely roof top bar with panoramic views. Convenient underground (public) car park with access directly into hotel 16 euros for 24hr but very safe and secure.

I booked the Radisson Blue expecting a higher level of quality than its adjoining sister Park Inn. I don't think I'll be returning. The room was not, as the gentleman at check-in told me, a quiet one. The location of the bathrooms bordering on the next room's sleeping area make that a light sleeper will wake up if their neighbor has a small bladder or decides to take a 20-minute shower at 6am. The room in general was noisy. From not knowing if someone was knocking on my door or a neighbor's to the enthusiastic couple with the terribly squeaky mattress that loved nooners, nighters and 2am'ers, plenty of entertainment. For a person with back issues, the mattress was very uncomfortable, just too hard to make it through the night. A last small point of irritation, and this seems to be a Belgian thing, the hotel assumes their guests are all clairvoyant. Check-out times are not posted, not mentioned and not on your key-wrap. That handy book that we are so used to that tells us when check out is, where the lounge and restaurant are, if there is laundry service, how to order room service or which number to call for help, is simply non-existent. When asked about it, I was told "Oh yeah, we don't have those anymore". I'm sure the hotel has a lovely bar or restaurant, maybe even other amenities, but they make no effort to tell their guests about it. I would not recommend this hotel, Hasselt has better places to stay, with equally convenient locations.
