We chose this location because it was about 5km form Tongeren where we were headed for their weekly antique market. Staying here was more than 100 Euros less than staying in Tongeren. We arrived about 7PM and knew they had a restaurant so planned to just eat here which was much easier with kids. Check in was a breeze. The man was friendly and spoke English well. The room was clean and comfortable. We never heard another person so it was very quiet. The restaurant was open until like 9. They seated us easily, but it was quite busy. This is a nice restaurant with pricier selections of steak and seafood, but also reasonably priced chicken and pasta. They also had a few children selections. The food took a little while to come, but it was busy and probably being made fresh. It was cooked well and very tasty.
Parking was plentiful. Check-out was easy.
We did have to walk up stairs to our room, which wasn't an issue for us, but may be for people with mobility issues. I am not sure if they have an elevator or if they have rooms on the ground floor.
