Good location next to the main Lima ruins
This hotel is in a good location. Bit funkier than we expected with a lot of stairs. The woman who managed the place was super nice and made reservations for us in great though super expensive restaurants.

4.9 Stars - Spacious hotel in perfect location!!!
The hotel and staff were so accommodating to us!!! We were travelling from Lima to Huacachina for the day so the hotel staff let us drop off our luggage early before we even checked in so we did have to haul our luggage from Lima to Haucachina and back to Lima. The rooms were extremely spacious and only a 5 min walk to the historic Huaca Pucllanna ruins built in 500 BC. Our departing flight was very late so again the hotel gave us a late check out at 4pm with no extra cost. The staff so so warm, lovely and gracious I can't say enough about them!!!!

Perfect in every way!
I stayed here for 3 nights mid April. Prior to my stay the hotel were nice enough to contact me regarding arranging a taxi from the airport and when I arrived there was a driver waiting for me. They upgraded my room due to it being my birthday during my stay and they left a present in my room on my birthday. This was such a lovely and thoughtful thing to do and I appreciated it a lot. The room was of a very high standard; very spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. There was always hot water and the bed was very comfortable allowing a great nights sleep. All the staff were very friendly and always on hand to help with anything I needed. From the start they always knew and addressed me by my name; I thought that this was a lovely personal touch. Finally they were very accommodating and allowed me a late check out due to having a flight in the evening. I couldn't have asked for anything more during my stay! Excellent!

Unfair Business Practices & Fraudulent Charges
I am writing this review with great disappointment. If you are considering booking a room here you need to be informed. Staying at this hotel will put you at risk for false charges to your credit card. After a very long flight we were excited to arrive at this unique hotel for our short two night stay in Lima on the way to Cusco. We arrived about 10:00 p.m. and were greeted by a wonderful desk clerk and a brief earthquake. Exciting! We were shown to our room which was a bit worn, but large and included all of the necessary comforts – nice bed, clean bathroom, great towels and a refrigerator stocked with refreshments. We had to be up at 4:00 a.m. for a long day tour so it was straight to bed to prepare for our 5:00 a.m. pick up. We woke, took showers and left for our tour early the next morning. We returned to the hotel at approximately 10:00 p.m. that evening and were greeted by a different desk clerk. She appeared to be upset and was trying to communicate to us that something was wrong with our door. We thought she meant the wood door to our room. She was saying that the hotel owner was very upset also. There was a bit of a language gap lending to our confusion. We were completely bewildered and concerned that our room door had been damaged by someone trying to break in or something. After we got over the language barrier we realized she was blaming us for shattering one of the sliding glass shower doors. We were stunned. Both I and my travel partner assured her that the

Friendly and unpretentious
Staff go the extra mile, even for smallest things. Clearly they want your stay to be memorable and it was. The historic building is full of character with great decor and some funky decorations thrown in like a phonograph in our room

Very nice
Was very clean and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Not fancy but had character. Breakfast was simple with fruit, fresh juice, toast and eggs. Staff was very helpful. They arranged transport by taxi to and from the airport for a fair price.

well, i am more a holidays inn or hilton hotel guy ... this is not your traditonal drywall-small-box room !! it is an old nice house with 4 LARGE rooms. no gym and no elevator. just 2 floors. pretty bathrooms. comfortable. great location and quite. personalized service. nice and kind young ladies take care of your stay here. the very best coffee and omelet you may ask for !! this is the first time i spent a week on a hotel of this style, but it worth the try.

The hotel is close to major archaeological site and you can walk to some local attractions. If you don't want to walk, the hotel will always get you a taxi. The breakfast was great, the room was great, the staff were great.

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff
We stayed at Huaca Wasi for one night and were greeted with a complimentary pisco sour. The staff was very helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is conveniently located in Miraflores, a short stroll from shops, restaurants and the seaside promenade.

Room has natty features in bathroom with 2 shower heads & a marble seat to make up for there being no bath. Very helpful young staff who were flexible over breakfast hours which for one night was much appreciated. Nicely situated in N .Miraflores making swift taxi ride to airport. Walking distance to Huaca park recently uncovering more ancient ruins.

This is more like staying in a B&B and less of a hotel. There's no front desk with cute itineraries and such. All of the back of house is hidden so you walk into a living room/public area and head straight to your room. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and modern. Staff is lovely but are hidden (which can be good if you're looking to keep to yourself always). One time one of the girls feel asleep at night so we were stuck outside the gate on the street for 20 minutes. That was the only downside of relying on the hotel to buzz you in. The taxi they provide is a friend-of-a-friend type deal so you're better off getting a cab on the street and paying 40 soles.

Stayed one night before departure back to the states. Surprised it was a house with no sign. I thought taxi guy made a mistake dropping us off at wrong place... really nice staff. Room was pretty good and clean. I did not like the sofa which seemed a bit old and musty with odor. May be they can upgrade to leather sofa and clean it everyday. Simple breakfast cooked by staff. Good suggestions from staff.

Very unique place. Enjoyable setting.
Loved the setting. The staff experience was mixed. The night staff said that an early morning breakfast was fine, but the coffee was from the night before and just reheated in a microwave when we mentioned that it was cold. Not the best breakfast either morning. However, other staff were very helpful in arranging transportation for us and welcomed us with a pisco sour, which was fun.

On the edge of Miraflores
This is a small hotel of just 6 rooms. While it's on a quiet street, the ones facing the front will be subject to noise from car alarms which seem to plague Lima. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple - they will freshly prepare eggs for you and provide cut fruit and bread that you can toast. Unfortunately the water pressure in my room was rather weak. I had a choice of somewhat warm water coming out as a trickle or a cold shower with enough water pressure to wash off the soap.

Went to aunts 90th birthday hotel is in a great neighborhood and quite street. Lima can be noisy and busy but this location makes you feel at home. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Will stay there again.

The hotel is cute, with modern décor, about a 15-20min walk to Plaza de Armas, clean, and staff friendly. But its set in a quite noise neighborhood a high traffic avenue and the windows not being double paned it doesn't help with the noise from the outside... Also, our bathroom floor kept getting flooded as the shower curtain would not block the water flow entirely and water would drip through the sides on the tub and onto the floor, quite annoying... Nevertheless we would book it again, as overall its a nice hotel and very clean.

The Staff is Exceptional at this Hotel:
Right after I made my reservation I received an email from Marianella from the Hotel Staff requesting to know if I would like to be picked up by a taxi and the exact cost. It is a good thing we used the cab as my brother's taxi (he stayed at another hotel and traveled to ours) got lost and had to call to find our hotel. Every morning at breakfast Marianella would come check on us to see if we need any assistance with our plans for the day. She provided wonderful suggestions and provided a map of the area which was very helpful. Evalie was also very friendly and helpful in the evenings. I selected this hotel based on the wonderful reviews about the staff and they note only meet those expectations but exceeded them. The breakfast was very good (fruit juice, eggs, toast, cereal, and fruit. They even made dinner reservations for us. The staff is amazing. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Lima and will stay again if ever have the chance to return to Lima. If you are looking for a very friendly and helpful staff you will not find a better hotel. Congratulations to the staff of Hotel Boutique Huaca Wasi!

Lovely hotel
This is a wonderful boutique hotel in Miraflores. Room 6 was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. It has a kitchenette which is useful for extended stays. Hotel staff are helpful, friendly, and speak English well. The location is very nice and in a safe area. You would never know that you are in the middle of a city.

The HuacaWasi was a delight! Situated in a quiet residential area with good access to public transport, we definitely felt at home in busy Lima. Marionella and Evelyn were kind and helpful and helped to make our stay a very pleasant one. Highly recommended!

Close to Wong Supermarket, and several restaurants within 2 blocks. very quiet location with cold A/C and a stocked fridge. Excellent shower and beddings. Rooms could be much cleaner. Lima is a dusty city, but windows, shelves and under bed needed attention. Staff very attentive. Location very secure. I will stay here again.

located on a nice quiet side-street. Wong supermarket, and several restaurants within 2 blocks. Rooms vary greatly as this is a converted home. Staff is top-notch, but rooms could be cleaner. bedding, and showers are the best I have seen in Lima. I will stay here again. there were other guests, but I rarely saw anyone. The Hotel has 6 rooms.

Nice quiet side street.
very nice old home converted into rooms. The Rooms differ greatly. My : Suite" ended up being a one bedroom with attached bath. I got the " we can't change the booking" run around. when I offered to call Hotels.com, the price was changed. Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Room and bedding are outstanding. The rooms could benefit from a good cleaning. The windows were dirty, and there was a layer of dust about, especially under the bed. Lima is a dusty city, but this was extreme. The bathrooms and especially the showers are the best I have seen in Lima. Location is good, very quiet, yet close to Wong supermarket. Expect to take a taxi for any other destinations. I will stay here again.

The location was convenient to walk around Miraflores and surrounding neighborhoods. The WiFi was excellent. The rooms were very clean and simple. The staff was accommodating. Juice, fruit, bread and jam was brought to our room after we missed breakfast for the third day in a row.

My Home Away from Home in Lima
With only a handful of rooms, Huaca Wasi is a converted boutique hotel in the heart of the Miraflores neighborhood. Perfect location, close to restaurants and shops. The suites are spacious, remodeled bathrooms, and a very comfortable bed. If you are thinking about it, dont do, just book it and you will be very happy.

A wondeful home in Lima
The Hotel Boutique Huaca-Wasi is like having a home in the heart of Miraflores in Lima, the place to stay in this city. Breakfast is included and is always generous, as is, for the most part, the very young staff. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends.

The best BB
A true antique BB. Owner Roberto has a rich fabric and pottery collection before BC and they are displayed in each room and the lobby. This BB is in a great location: miraflores. This BB is very clean and make us feel home. The bed is super comfortable with good quality of bedding. Roberto has a team of several staff who provide great service. Gabriel and Natellie are very friendly and speak good English. We stayed 2 weeks in Peru from Lima, Cusco to Amazon. This BB is the best along with Machu Picchu. We were really happy with this BB and we got everyone a small gift at the end of our stay. We highly recommend this BB. The breakfast is also superb.

Amazing hotel!
I have to be honest, we were hesitant about staying in a small hotel like this, because we didn’t think it can offer all the conveniences of a big hotel. We were right, this hotel didn’t offer the same things as a big hotel, it offered something a lot bigger, personal touch, care, and extremely friendly atmosphere. Very cozy and clean place that feels like you are visiting good friends. The owner goes over and beyond to make not only your hotel stay great, but your city experience great as well. He has made recommendations for things to do, places to have dinner, and they were all spot on. All I can say is wow! Definitely, the only place to stay while in Lima for us in the future, and definitely will recommend to all friends.
