Mon 2ème séjour à l'hôtel de la couronne et toujours aussi ravie ! Parfait accueil au check-in et checkout par Anne-Laure ; chambre spacieuse et très confortable (notamment lit de grande taille et linge de toilette généreux) ; très propre ; petit-déjeuner varié ; localisation pratique. Un séjour parfait !

Hotel near train station with air conditioning
Nice hotel near the train station. Rooms have air conditioning so was a great respite after a hot day. Would stay here again.

Well located next to Liège-Guillemins train station, and only a few minutes walk in to the city proper. A very comfortable room.

Location very close to main train station which is convenient. But these neighborhoods also attract less desirable people. For the old center you’d have to walk quite far. Staff very friendly and their English is good. Breakfast, as so often, is far too expensive. The Starbucks affiliate in the train station is not nice and there are practically no breakfast places and bakeries. There is a parking close by which is very convenient and cheaper than other public parkings since they have an agreement with the hotel. Ask the reception staff.

I have stayed at dozen of hotels but this one was very different for me ( Liege) This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much for all members of staff.

First time to Liege, very convenient hotel
Hotel is right across the street from the train station. I was very impressed with the hotel and the security. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel. Accueil très efficace et avec le sourire, chambre calme, spacieuse, propre et fonctionnelle. Belle salle de bains, très bonne literie, grande penderie et placards, grand bureau comfortable. Bouilloire et deux gobelets en porcelaine dans la chambre, avec thé et café gracieusement offerts. Bonne connexion wifi. Je n'ai pas goûté au petit-déjeuner, j'ai dû partir très tôt - le receptionniste de nuit était très souriant et efficace lui aussi. Je vais certainement y retourner.

Accueil chaleureux et professionnel ; grande chambre agréable et confortable ; petit déjeuner buffet très varié et copieux (salé/sucré/chaud/froid) ; mesures d'hygiène scrupuleusement respectées dans tout l'hôtel (par ex. gants individuels de service au petit déjeuner, gel à disposition à de multiples points ; vitres à la réception etc.) ; emplacement pratique près de la gare permettant de laisser sa valise ou sa voiture au parking de l'hôtel puis de rayonner dans toute la ville grâce à de fréquents bus en qqes minutes (plusieurs restaurants/cafés également à disposition près de l'hôtel si besoin). Un séjour des plus réussis avec excellent rapport qualité-prix ! A recommander.

Really old, terrible conditions. Room finishing are zero. You can see holes at the wall. Looks like a building from beginning of the century with out maintenance for 100 years!

Our hotel was completely renovated in 2008 with the new re-opening and it is constantly maintained. Last year we renovated all the 77 rooms (carpet, lighting, sanitary, …) Could you please help us explaining the reasons of your disappointment and tell us where you stayed in our hotel? The hotel is very close to the Liege Guillemins train station but is still very quiet. The beds were super comfy, and the bathrooms were clean and well appointed. Our overnight stay in Liege was very pleasant as a result.

About the hotel and Liege
Everything about the hotel was fantastic! We had a few extra hours to spend prior to a business meeting for my husband so we went exploring. St. Bartholomew’s historic church and it’s contents (including a 12th century baptismal font) is outstanding and worth the effort to find. This is not a city that one would typically go to for touring, but it gave us good insights into a melting pot city in an industrial town. Everyone was helpful and courteous. The staff at the Tourist Information was very good.

The hotel is next to the railway station but about a 15 minute walk from the centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the room comfortable.

We choose this hotel because it was located near the train station from Guardians of the Galaxy and we wanted to see it. However, the location is a bit far out of the city centre, so a lot of walking was done. After we checked in, we went to our double room to find that the bed (mattress) was broken, one side was completely flat and you roll off the bed. They moved us to a twin room but still, it was not what we paid for. The hotel was in need of some minor maintenance. The toilet holder was loose, the shower door had some loose fittings, the chair legs were wobbly.... small things. It was a nice enough hotel for a weekend but if you're looking to be closer to the livelier part of the city, this is not the hotel for you.

The hotel is very convenient to the train station and only a short walk to the central part of town. It may look a bit old from the outside but don’t be fooled, inside it is very modern and comfortable. I’ll definitely return if in the area again.

Hotel very convenient for, and room overlooked station but still quiet. Some local bars & eateries, but was a good 25-30 minute walk from city centre. Looked like public transport nearby at station. Room comfortable. Good shower! Staff helpful with good English.
