“Extended Stay America, Lexington on Nicholasville Rd.”
Room was very clean and comfortable. A/C works great! Place was a little hard to locate since it's not on a main thoroughfare, but found it by calling front desk. It was very convenient to many things and easy to get on/off major highway. Would go back again without hesitation.
“Affordable and convenient”
The Extented Stay America Lexington - Nicholasville Road was conveniently located to the airport and all the functions we attended in Lexington, Kentucky. It offered an affordable per night price for our four night stay while the rooms were comfortable and well maintained.
“The pillows are great!”
The bed was really comfortable and the AC worked great. A real ice box!!!
“Good basic hotel”
Close to hospital for my stay. Good basic hotel, nothing fancy, i would stay there again any time.
“One Night Stay”
Being so close to New Circle Road you could hear the traffic, but that is the case with most hotels. We could also hear the neighbors but it was not overwhelming and was ok. Overall for the price and our need it was a good stay and I would stay again in the future. The location is right in the middle of the places we need to go when we are in Lexington. If you like Starbucks then you are in luck because there is one almost next to it and a good Pizza Buffet place as well.
“Meh”
Okay, not great. Other than being an extended-stay hotel (i.e. one with a kitchen and dishes), the main thing it has going for it is that it's close to a LexTran bus stop.
“Not the cleanest place”
The room wasn't so bad, it was too small to be considered a studio. The bed was not comfortable at all, the heat/ac reeked of mildew every time it was turned on, the walk ways near the stairs and elevator were coated in some kind of sticky goo that looked like garbage drool and there were massive potholes all over the road in and out of the entrance. The staff was friendly and helpful, although extended stay charges you for a any kind of maid/refresh service so you have to ask for extra pillows and changes of sheets from the front desk or you'll pay extra for it as well as internet service.
“A bed like hardwood laying across springs.”
The room wasn't bad over all. It was my first time at an Extended Say and I like the small kitchen area. There were a few stains on the counter top but that wasn't bad. The coffee pot seemed grimy and the phone had a build up on it. The thing that bugged me was the bed. It was the hardest bed i've ever tried to sleep on and when we asked for more pillows the person at the desk said they were out. How can a hotel run out of pillows? My husband and I were miserable that night.
“Not Impressed. Needs maintenance and cleaning air vents”
I was looking forward to my stay at this hotel and was disappointed. The air vent in the bathroom was filthy and there was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. There was a bug in the corner that looked like it had been pushed there by a vacuum cleaner instead of someone cleaning it up. We will be visiting Lexington alot in the next several months and were looking for a place we could stay without having to eat out all the time. Unfortunately I am not sure I will choose this location again.
