Cosy and quaint room with a excellent restaurant and quirkly decorated reception area. Beds comfortable and decent for the price. Friendly happy staff. Parked our car safely outside for free.

Great charm, location and staff.
Extremely charming spot--the location is not only central, it's right on the both the river and the main square and across the street from the museum; A very cozy and comfortable hotel with super friendly staff. Upsides far outweigh the down sides (Short on in-room amenities and you should skip the lousy breakfast (coffee from a vending machine)). Unfortunately the restaurant was not open for dinner and we were not able to experience what we heard is the wonderful food. Price is very very reasonable for the the overall experience. Would definitely stay again next time we are in the region.

Nice stay. Especially nice were Jerome and Giselle in the restaurant. Also excellent food. Close to many top Dordogne sites. Some limits in parking spaces, also no elevator which is typical of older hotels. Would definitely stay again.

Very low-key.
Very low-key management. Goya, the house Jack Russell, was always around to greet you and chase tennis balls.

Great location across from Pre-History Museum and close to very good restaurants, but still quiet. The Restaurant at the hotel was outstanding. Very helpful staff. Parking a bit of an adventure, but workable. Could walk to Font de Gaume.

Great little hotel in the Dordogne region
This is a charming and very comfortable hotel. I received a very warm welcome when i arrived and was made to feel right at home. Both breakfast and evening meal were very good and the service was first class. This is a fantastic location for visiting the Dordogne region with much to see and visit in the village and surrounding area. I have no reservations in recommending this hotel and would happily stay there again

Cozy and friendly
The staff was extraordinary, we arrived very late and two staff remained to assist us with checking in, luggage and welcoming us to the hotel. The room was cozy and comfortable. The staff had some challenges with English, but helped us and answered all our questions.

Great location.
The hotel is centrally located for activities, canoeing, visiting caves or medieval towns, or even watching part of the Tour de France next July. I had a single on the fourth floor (no elevator). The bathroom was reasonably large, but the separate toilet was unreasonably cramped. The food in the restaurant was fine.

DuPasseur perfect
Personable and adept albeit small staff make this charming ivy-draped hotel a delightful choice sandwiched between rocky cliff and romantic river, featuring close access to prehistory museum and caves. Top class French cuisine prepared by owner/chef, friendly help re the area, free and close parking. Clean rooms, pleasant views and just a hearty feel made this a favorite stay.

Got to be a top pick for Les Eyzie
Hotel is centrally located across from the Museum of Prehistory and a 10 minute walk to Font de Gaume. All the staff were extremely helpful during our stay. Cycle storage was provided. Room was adequate. In particular, lunch was first class and a bargain. The manager helped arrange transport for us to Sarlat on a very rainy day at a reasonable cost.

Portal to Prehistoric Cave Sites
The location of the hotel put us into the middle of the Dordogne and many prehistoric cave sites. Access to the region was our most important concern, and this hotel provided for all of our immediate needs.

I have stayed at this hotel many times on my way to/from Spain and have never been disappointed before. The room I had was lovely, BUT, the toilet wouldn't flush and the last thing you want after a 10 hour drive is trying to sort that out! Also the instructions on how to use the power shower are on the wall in the shower, and if like me you need glasses to read you can imagine the difficulty in trying to read something with jets of cold water coming at you from all angels!! Anyway, I wouldn't hesitate in using the hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

Very charming hotel. Helpful staff. Great location for exploring the Perigord region. I would stay there again. Americans may not like the restaurant because it specializes in foie gras and duck.

Lovely hotel in Les Eyzies
The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of town of Les Eyzies, across from the Prehistoric Museum., and literally sitting on the banks of the the Vézère river. The hotel itself is small but beautiful and well appointed. Rooms are medium size, clean and well kept. The have a beautiful outdoor patio which also looks over the river. The staff were extremely polite and went out of their way to provide us with anything we needed. We stayed there for three days and if it had not been for our schedule, would have stayed for an extra day. Les Eyzies is a great location as a base for a vacation in the Dordogne. The Font de Gaume cave is about 5 minutes away, and other prehistoric sites are within a 20-25 mile radius. Sarlat is about a 25-30 minute drive away.

Convenient location
Good stay at a family run guest house in a small town. Great location to see caves close-by. Had free parking and wifi. Did not have breakfast there since the charge was 13.50euro per person. Good bakery that serve coffee just outside the hotel on the Main Street.

Great stay
The staff here were over the top nice. The breakfast was WELL WORTH the extra money. Highly recommend. The hotel is not fancy - older as is everything in Narbonne, but comfortable and within walking distance of a very quaint town. We really enjoyed our brief stay largely in part to the staff. We arrived late when most restaurants were closed and they called a place to wait for us so we could have a fantastic French dinner.

Picturesque
Very helpful staff. Location is right along the river across from the museum, with an easy drive to La Madeline and Lascaux II. Dinner is expensive for my budget, but the restaurant was full and food looked good. We ate down the street at a good Italian restaurant. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel looks right out onto Mt. St. Michelle and you have a perfect picture at all time. The servcie was excellent as was the food. To me it was worht every penny and the only hotel I would tell anyone to stay at if they are going there. To me it was an A plus !

Far away from major attractions in the Dordogne region
While the hotel is fine, the long drive on backroads to get there was a big drawback for us. In addition, the community where the hotel is located is very small so there are few dining options. We understand there are caves to see in the area, but that was not our interest, so we relocated after a one night stay.

Hyggelig hotell i historiske omgivelser
Trivelig og tradisjonelt hotell. Bratte trapper og ingen heis kan gjøre det vanskelig for bevegelseshemmede.
