Alexander, we are so sorry for your poor experience. We wish you had reached out to us during your stay, we would have tried to move you to a room with a mattress that better suited your requirements. All our mattresses are less than 2.5 years old and top-of-the-line. Similarly, we have six different varieties of top-rated pillows available to suit guests' individual needs, and we would have happily replaced them. As to the floor, you are absolutely right — our buildings are 170 and 250 years old. Our hope is that our amenities, our gourmet breakfast, the kindness and generosity of our team, and the charm of the buildings make up for their shortcomings.
