I liked the price and the cleanliness. The price was my overall positive. I did not like the fact that you could not have even one visitor with out hearing about it.

Great Counter Service. Easy to book thru Expedia. Very clean. Pretty well updated. Very sparse lighting- two options: one overhead and one desk lamp. None by the beds. Seemed odd. Road it was on was very noisy. Needed a white sound app to sleep better. Price was very reasonable and close to a lot of things to do including downtown Mt. Dora. Beautiful older homes and properties nearby. Worth an overnight stay except for road noise.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at La Bella from January 26th to 28th. Upon arrival, I encountered several issues: initially given an occupied room, then relocated to a bug-infested one. Amenities were lacking, with hand soap instead of body soap, a malfunctioning bathroom light switch, and missing coffee filters and trash cans. Further problems included roaches in the bathroom and refrigerator, and a malfunctioning fridge. Despite pleasant staff, these issues reflect poor maintenance. I will not return and will leave a one-star review on both the hotel and Expedia. I hope you take this feedback seriously for future improvement.

the room did smell like cigarette smoke. The chairs are falling apart at the desk. Found dead roaches and it did not feel clean. The room was actually depressing. My husband wanted to leave after first night.

I really was skeptical when we first arrived, but the room was huge and clean. The only two things were the light was broken and there were some small holes in the bed spread. However, the bed was comfortable and the area quiet.

The room was clean, but our non-smoking room still smelled of cigarettes, and the smoke detector had been pulled off the wall and was nowhere in sight. The staff are friendly and courteous, and their room rate was reasonable.

Compared to la quintina i stayed in the night before this is a huge improvment. Rooms are spacious with a decent sized tv so you can leave your bonoculars to watch shark tank haha. Batroom shower head does need to be updated since if you dont point it at the oposite wall you will get a puddle going. Bed itself is a little on the stiffer side which i didnt mind. Pillows on the other hand only 2 and they were flat so if you dont bunch them up you will wake up with a neck cramp. Room itself was clean didnt notice anything out of the ordinary. Door locks need to be updated as well, double-check if its locked before going out or sleeping. Shampoo and soap dispensers were a nice tuch but were empty (i carry my own anyways). Price was within range and there is a gas stasion next door for a drink n some junk food. No other amenaties. I will be staying there again since i just sleept in the room and wasant looking for anything special.

we stayed a week and ahalf while we waited on closing on are new home very ease to get too and not that far from shops and entertainment beds were comfy and good and room was very clean staff ever day knocked on are door and asked if we needed anything only thing i disliked was being right next to a major highway and hearing the traffic 24/7 room was pretty big too great size open with two beds price was low too got value for it would stay again

It's a no-frills motel that offers reasonable accommodations. You get a clean room, outstanding water pressure in the shower, a fridge, and a microwave. If you are looking for fancy, this isn't it, but if you are looking for a clean, pocket-book-friendly place, this might fit your bill.

If you are looking for a place to lay your head and take a shower, this place delivers fine. It's very basic, but accomplished what I was looking for. It did smell like smoke, though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious, and everything was clean. I would use it again.

It was very nice and peaceful staff wAs on point and the rooms were clean and it is right by everything you need within walking distance I just didn't like that you get Wi-Fi until you step in the room then it goes out

Cheap & No bugs!
Check in quick & easy. The room had a strong odor that I suppose was from a cleaner or pesticide. I thought it’d go away but it didn’t & I was too tired to complain. The 3 pillows on the king size bed were very thin! I actually prefer thin pillows (most hotel pillows are too thick for me) but these were so thin I had to sleep with two under my head. I missed the curved shower curtain rod because the wet curtain kept blowing in against me! And then I realized there was no blow drier. On the up side: It was the cheaper of the two hotels in the area I wanted, There were no bugs. The room is huge! And it was conveniently located.

The place is great for a place to stay esp for the price, you get what you pay for and it was somewhere to lay my head for the night shower and head home. The frontdesk was an amazing lady and the people staying there were very friendly..if your with your family on vacation spend the extra money there is nothing fancy about this hotel and if my travels ever take me to that area i will definitely stay there again

Material upgrades make this older motel a clean stay. Only a very difficult to open door and loose toilet handle were not updated. No frills motel on high traffic road. Hard mattress. Economical for the area. Ok for an overnight.

The location was fabulous, just not a good set up , the Desk area had NO PLUGS !!! to use our computer, And they had NO LIGHT ON DESK ??? It was very inconvenient. The room was very dark, and the comforter and curtains made it worse They are red to dark . Just need more lights and get some surge protectors to plug in multiple devices. No Breakfast, i think the price was a bit high. If in area for summer wouldn't stay here to hot not to have a pool.

THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WAS THE CONVENIENT LOCATION TO ALL THAT I WOULD NEED. SHOPPING, LOCAL AND HIGHWAY ROADS. THEN UPON ENTERING MY ROOM, I NOTICED THE SCENT OF CLEANLINESS. THE ROOM WAS NEAT THE MORE THAN SUFFICIENT. MOST HOTEL/MOTELS WONT EVEN SUPPLY YOU WITH A REFRIGERAOR AND A MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM. BUT THIS ONE DID. THE TV WAS ACTUALLY 50". CLEAR DIGITAL CABLE SYSTEM. THE MADE SURE THAT EACH DAY I WAS SUPPLIED WITH COFFEE AND A COFFEE MAKER. AND THEY KEPT ME WITH FREE BOTTLED WATER EACH MORNING. THE SERVICE WAS FRIENDLY AND I FELT COMFORTABLE. I CHECKED REVIEWS BEFORE I ACCEPTED MY ROOM, AND NOTICED MOSTLY GOOD REVIES. I ALSO SAW WHAT LOOKED LIKE AT LEAST ONE SPITEFULL REVIEWS WHICH SEEMED VERKY OBVIOUS. YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE. BUT I PERSONLLY CAN ACCOUNT FOR ME. "I WAS PLEASED".
