I cannot imagine a better experience than what Tullio treated us to at Azzurretta. The room was amazing...as was the breakfast and his advice. There's absolutely no doubt that, if we're fortunate enough to return to Lecce, we will try to stay at Azzurretta again. Grazie mille, Tullio!

This is a charming 400 year old building that provided that wonderful European experience that we love. Great old terrace at the top of the building and a lovely breakfast. Friendly and most accommodating host. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Brilliant stay
Was a great place to stay, brilliant location, close to everything but nicely tucked away and private. Breakfast was good and served with a smile, really felt like could ask for anything.

Great location
The location and host were great. Tullio was really helpful and the breakfast on the roof a really nice experience. However the room didn’t have very much natural light and was really cold, the age and nature of the property means this is expected but other properties we stayed in during our trip made more compensations to keep the space cosy and inviting. It was also very noisy in the mornings as our door opened right out into the main stairwell and was flanked by the stairs to the roof so you could really hear people accessing the stairs for breakfast in the morning

A lovely room in a beautiful old building. Tullio was a great host and the location was fantastic! Be aware if arriving by car, parking is quite a way away.

Charming and central historic palazzo
Trullio was very helpful and informative. Andrea baked great cakes for breakfast - hot out of the oven. Superb location inside centro storico in a charming palazzo. Only issue was occasional noise from guests at neighbouring B&B using communal stairs.

From the warm welcome, detailed guide of Lecce and tour of the property Tullio the owner was magnificent. The Roof terrace was spectacular and was made even more special by a complementary bottle of wine that kicked off the vacation on the right note. The suite was stylish and thoroughly cleaned. Location was perfect for easy access to the train station and all of the local sites. Late check-out was also possible and hassle-free. Would be a pleasure to stay here again. Highly recommended!

I chose this as my first of a few hotels to stay while traveling Puglia. I was excited about it from the pictures. out of all the hotels I chose this was the one that disappointment the most. it was in the centre of lecce therefore location was great. the room was ok. the building was old dirty and grungy feeling - that was a turn off. the parking was free but crazy to walk 15 minutes each way because you can't park in the centro storico. the other disappointing thing was the extra local tax charged upon arrival. I didn't expect that. the owner said that both were in the print. make sure you're informed. the owner was very helpful to give a map he made of the area outlining points of interest - that was amazing and he was always available to answer any questions however standing beside him smelled like underarm odor which was not pleasant talking with him. the complimentary breakfast at a local bar was great because the cornetti there were good. out of all the hotels I stayed in Puglia this would be the only one I would not return. if you like old and can overlook the above than it could work for you. I forgot to mention that the power only works when the key is in the socket so if one goes out the other has not power. the cleaning staff was nice. it just seemed there were too many things to know - getting in and out of the building had so many keys, doors (small vs. big), no elevator but the owner was creative with a 1 bag at a time pulley. to consider.

I'm really sorry you haven't been well in my beb. I love my job and my guests, but I accept your judgement, maybe I haven't been very good with you. In my life I still have to learn so many things. Sorry, the building where there is Azzurretta beb is a building of XVI century. It is not "old and dirty" It is ancient. Sorry, we are in the hearth of the historic centre and it is not possible to park inside (It is a law of the common of Lecce, how the city tax It is not included in your booking and that is written in your booking). A little gem in the heart of Lecce
Our host Tullio was a perfect gentleman and provided a very warm welcome to us on our arrival, and in clear terms provided us with all the information we required for our stay in Lecce. The room was spacious clean and comfortable, an added extra was the roof terrace with panoramic views over the city and a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset with a bottle of wine. I would not hesitate to reccomend this B&B.

Long drag upstairs; many keys needed for interior doors. Room very simple indeed but clean. Proprietor extremely helpful and friendly. Nice roof terrace with views. Breakfast arrangement not good: voucher for coffee and bun at a bar over 5 minutes' walk away.

Funky B and B
Two day break touring Puglia. Funky B and B right in the heart of the old town. Tullio was a charming host, and couldn't do enough for us, he made our stay much more pleasant. If you want somewhere different to stay , this is it . The roof terrace was a bonus to catch some sun.

Lovely Lecce
The b and b is situated in an old palace that has been sub divided up. Very nice place,but be forewarned, lots of stairs. Lovely terrace that needs some updating, but with a terrific view of the city

Lovely Lecce
Very near to the main square with a pizzeria very close by, although only open in the evening. Faded grandeur but quirky and just what we wanted. Host charming and informative, who lent us glasses so we could buy wine and enjoy it on the sunlit terrace. An additional unexpected treat from Lecce was watching the dancing of the Pizzicata in the main square, very atmospheric and romantic with scarves, an accordion player, tambourines, castanets and singing - all for the pure pleasure of it.

No car traffic
This is in a pedestian traffic only part of the old town which makes its location excellent, but you can not drive to it with your car. If you are using a Garmin it will not get you near the hotel. Best to park and try to find the hotel on foot one you reach the historic center. Also the staff is not on sight and you need to call them to come on a cell phone that works in Italy. The breakfast was nothing.

Great location, building and terrace.  Room - average. Only natural light from a small window high up in the corner of the room. No shampoo or conditioner. Hole in the sheets.  Breakfast was very basic. Service was appalling. Basically felt like I was an inconvenience. When both I and another guest had difficulty exiting the building on the 2nd contact the manager finally came to help after what sounded like a curse under his breath. When he checked the door and determined someone had locked it in error he then proceeded to blame guests who must think the area as unsafe. When i couldnt get the airconditioner to work I went to see the manager who informed me this doesn't get switched on below certain temperatures as they are ecologists and argued my need. My room was warm as it had limited ventilation (1 small window at ceiling height only). This was not communicated to me as part of the booking process or by the manager on checking in. I finally got it switched on but not without an argument with the manager. While the terrace was great, I didn't use it as the events above made me uncomfortable about running into the manager who lives on the top floor.  At no stage, even on departure, did I get any form of apology.

Tullio was very friendly and helpful. Gave me all the information I needed when I first arrived, including maps and restaurant recommendations. Excellent location!! Right in the heart of the historic district. Only two (small) complaints... the gas stove would not light by itself and the towel bar in the bathroom was broken. Overall I was VERY pleased with my stay, and the price was very reasonable.

Little gem in the heart of Lecce
The hotel owner is very friendly and makes you feel like at home. Hotel is well located just off from a pedestrain street and a few streets away from the main square. It's easy to reach the hotel by foot from the railway station - 10 minutes max. The hotel has a huge roof terrace, so if you are visiting Lecce in the summer you might be stuck there. The breakfast is served in one of the main square cafes which even on weekends opens 07:30. Good coffee (ask for espressino) and fresh cornettos. The hotel is great for a w/e break, has good atmosphere and is cosy as well.

역사와 전통이 있는 아주 오래된 건물이에요. 그에 반해 내부는 깨끗하고 현대적으로 잘 꾸며놓았습니다. 호스트 아저씨가 정말정말 친절하고 열정이 넘치셔서 레체의 관광지를 알려주셨어요. 호텔 옥상에는 루프탑뷰를 즐길 수 있는 곳이 마련되어있고, 거기서 아침식사를 해요. 어느 고급 호텔에서 먹은 아침보다 여기서 먹은 아침식사가 가장 맛있었던 것 같아요. 홈메이드느낌의 올리브오일, 양파빵, 레체지역의 전통빵 등이 아침으로 나옵니다. 정말 강추강추 너무 좋았어요!!!!! 웰컴 기프트로 와인도 한 병 주셨는데, 호스트 아저씨가 이 일을 정말 사랑하신다는 느낌을 받았습니다.

Liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt. Frühstück vollkommen in Ordnung, auf einer Dachterrasse. Parkplatz nicht wie beschrieben am Hotel, sonder über einen Kilometer weit weg. Mit Koffer und Taschen zu Fuß, nachts ein Problem. Einchecken kann man besser lösen.

Gut gelegen, sehr zentral, nicht ganz ruhig. Deckenventilator lief nur mit störendem Geklicke und beim AC konnte man die Temperatur nicht steuern. Der Besitzer ist sehr sympathisch, hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Die Dachterrasse war super, konnten auch dort frühstücken. Frühstück war sehr gut, mit natürlichen Produkten.
