I stay at the Golden Lamb once or twice a year when visiting my cousins. I like staying in different rooms each time. Love the exhibits and memorabilia on the upper floors. This time I noticed the antique locks on the bathroom door…very cool. Best food in town—especially the seasonal items. Usually can get into the Black Horse Tavern without a long wait. Nice to sit near the front fireplace & hear guests talk about past visits. Shout out to the Portman family for their many years of thoughtful stewardship. Try going Wednesday night when historian John Zimkus makes the rounds & tells hotel stories!

Great location in downtown Lebanon. Historic property, parking safe and free on site.

A couple tweaks needed.
Publié le 4 janv. 2024 sur HotelsOverall the stay and the accommodations were nice. We understand the age of the hotel and it mainly appeared kept up. However, the bathroom in our room was disappointing. Not by amenities, but the shower tiles were mismatched, grout missing and a caulking job that was extremely amateur. Not what you’d expect from a very popular establishment as this. Although the restaurant is not the hotel, but part of it, I have to include it as well. The staff and portions were good. The food itself was a little bland and lacked flavor. It wasn’t just one dish, but both my wife’s and mine. Overall a cool stay, especially with the history.

Very nice surprise. Restaurant and food drink and service were outstanding. Accommodation were very good. We had a great time.
