“PEACEFUL”
It was luvly. I HAD AT GREAT TIME AT THE HOTEL i WISH THEY DID HAD A CASINO.
“My Wyndham Grand Desert Stay in Las Vegas”
Great Hotel. Very comfortable and clean. I would consider staying here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.
“Great experience”
Very close to the strip, 1 block from the monorail. Beautiful hotel, no casino (plus for us), beautiful pool. Very clean, nicely decorated. Nice amenities w/ kitchen, washer/dryer. Highly recommend!
“Wyndham”
Very Clean and family friendly.
“Nice resort family-friendly hotel near the strip”
This is part of the Wyndham Resort Hotels, so it is a time-share system, and doesn't count towards the Wyndham Rewards points. Elevator is secure needing room card to choose the floor. The room is clean with a separate king bed bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room where the kitchenette is (with a full-size refrigerator). Bedroom has a large safe in the closet. By the bathroom is a stacked washer/dryer and a closet with ironing board/iron, floor sweeper, and a plunger (in a covered container with handle sticking out). A very family-friendly facility with multiple pools and an activity area with video games/movies for young people. The entire facility is non-smoking and has no gambling areas on the premises. For getting to the main strip, there's a free shuttle bus that drops off guests at the back of Harrah's -- just watch your time late at night because after 10 PM it only returns to the Wyndham from Harrah's at the bottom of each hour with the last shuttle around 12:30 AM. Otherwise it's a little under a 1-mile walk (or taxi) back from the strip. Nonmembers are asked to sit in on one of their ownership (timeshare) presentations during a free breakfast or lunch (entire family invited). We were told it would only last 90 minutes with no pressure, but it ended up taking almost 3 hours (we managed to send our kids back to the room while we sat with a sales-rep after the lunch part with the main speaker). Would recommend; just plan accordingly.
“Great stay!”
Great hotel, exceeded expectations!
“Wonderful for Families”
Fabulous hotel. We stayed Dec 20-28 over Christmas. Had a huge two-bedroom, two bathroom unit reserved a standard but I think they gave us a deluxe). Full kitchen, huge bathroom, really nice decor and great beds. Friendly, helpful service from everyone at the hotel. Lots of activities for kids, also lots of hotel-arranged tours such a trips to Ethel M Chocolate Factory, outlet shopping, etc. This is a timeshare place and timeshare sales people were everywhere, but they only asked us once (on check-in when we picked up our welcome package) if we wanted to attend a presentation. We said no and no one asked us again, so we felt no pressure. The hotel is two long blocks off the strip - a 15 minute walk or so, but with kids we took the free hotel shuttle and sometimes a taxi. This takes you right to the middle of the strip. The hotel has a gift store with basic groceries, but runs a shuttle to a grocery store every morning at 8:00 for a very small fee. The grocery store has good prices - well worth it. I would highly recommend this place to families since the location is close to the strip, the units are roomy and well equipped, and the whole hotel is family-friendly. Beautiful courtyard and pools - all decorated for Christmas. Excellent value, no complaints at all. If we were coming back as a couple we might stay right on the strip but you can't beat this place if you want a larger suite or apartment-style hotel room.
“Comfortable relaxing atmosphere and doesnt feel that you are in a hotel at all”
The rooms are excellent and feels like you are staying in a condo versus a hotel. The location is away from the strip but the resort offers great alternatives such as shuttles to and from the strip and the cab rides are only 8.00 one way. The only thing is you better not be in a hurry to check in, we arrived at 2pm and waited till 5pm before we got a room. The other down fall is that check out time is 10am not good after a night of partying and you cant just request to stay another night you have to go through some third party and are not assured to be able to stay in the same room and in our case they didnt have anything available.
“Great place for my family”
Only issue AC blew strong!!
“Excellent!!”
