“Great hotel for family with children and for non-smoker!”

This is a great hotel for family with young children and for non-smoker looking for a clean and safe place to stay while visitng family. Close enough to fun and game. Friendly staffs. Bath tub is a little slippery so becareful! The AC system is a little loud, but other than that, Ihighly recommend this place!

“Nice surprise”

A nice, new hotel. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Good breakfast. Definitely will stay there again when traveling through LV on my way to California. Now if they could just do something about the Las Vegas hot weather...

“Excellent!”

“sleepers in the lobby”

Great hotel we usually stay at hap[pily, however...this time there were two persons asleep in the early hours of the morning...one passed out in the computer room, surrounded by beer bottles, and on on a couch in the entry way/dining area. Not good.

“If you like QUIET, don't stay here”

Paper thin walls will make for a bad night, then you get to wake up at 8:00am (like it or not) to the maid knocking on every door in the hallway (which you can hear no matter where she is because there is NO sound insultation at all) and shouting "housekeeping." The hotel is new, therefore the rooms are still nice, but if you don't want to listen to your neighbours talking until 1:30 in the morning, don't stay here. If you don't want to listen to your neighbour's TV, don't stay here. It's really too bad they cheaped out big time on the construction because otherwise it would be a decent place to stay. Breakfast is fine, the usual cheap hotel routine - fake scrambled eggs, little boxes of cereal and a line up for the waffle maker. PS. You absolutely need a rental car if you're thinking about going to the strip.

Area recommendations

If you want a break from the strip, Lake Las Vegas is worth the short drive. Once the economy gets rolling again it'll be a great little vacation spot. It's somewhat of a ghost town at the moment but it's very pretty and you can see the potential. A few of the restaurants/shops are open -- it's a nice little "go for a drive and have lunch" kinda place right now.

“Wingate Round 2”

Another satisfied experience. Only one problem, I was in the room until noon so housekeeping skipped the room but they never came back. I called the front desk and they brought fresh towels immediately.

“nice economic hotel, too far from the strip”

this hotel was a last minute choice and thouhg it would be closer to the strip, it was nice to be away from all the comotion, but it reality it was a bit too far. our toilet over flooded and althouhg we called immediatly no one made it to our room fro a while, we were switched to a new room. the breakfast was great and very much appreciated.

“Good hotel with no resort fees”

Good hotel, only minutes away from the Strip. Although they forgot to clean our room a couple of days during our stay, service was in general good and diligent. We loved that no smoking or pets are allowed in this hotel.
