“Forgot we were in Las Vegas”
My wife and I wanted a hotel that was close to the strip, yet far enough away that we did not feel overwhelmed by all of the casinos and people. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. Our room overlooked the lake and was really nice. We really liked the bed because it was soft and cushy rather than hard and uncomfortable. The spa treatments were fabulous and well worth the expense. The hotel staff was more than willing to accommodate all of our requests and they were very friendly and courteous. The restaurants were great and the food was wonderful. The swimming pools were great, too. The large upper pool is geared for adults and the equal sized lower pool is for the kids. The lower pool is only 3 feet deep and has a waterslide that is even fun for the adults. There is also some play equipment and a separate tots pool that is shaded. The village is a quick drive or you can take the free shuttle. If you want fun, the strip is only 20 minutes away and the entrance for Lake Mead is only 2 miles away. Overall, this has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. If you want to gamble, however, you will be disappointed because they do not offer ANY type of gaming on the property, which makes the hotel feel more like a retreat rather than a Vegas hotel. Next time we are going to bring the kids because, from what we saw, they are VERY accommodating to families with younger children. I honestly think they deserve 5 stars! Definitely luxury and comfort all the way.
“awesome stay!”
Very nice hotel and the service was outstanding! Great place to relax and a nice area with world class golf very nearby. Although it was 25 minutes from the strip, the drive was worth it.
“Great”
Loved it, very nice hotel and didn't have a casino. Liked the fact that there was more then one pool.
“Very relaxing!”
My husband and I stayed at Lowe's Lake Las Vegas for a wedding on the property and were very happy with our stay. It was nice to get off the strip and enjoy a slower pace. There is a casino nearby in the village, so we still didnt have to give up gambling all together if we didnt want to :) The beach on the property is great and the DJ at the pool Saturday was very good. The valet staff was AWESOME. Always got us a shuttle to the village promptly, and took and picked us up from the strip too, for less than the cost of a cab.. overall we were extremely pleased with everything. Front desk even got us a beach view last minute. Will definitely go back :)
“Wonderful hotel with great service”
Our stay was great, the pools and beach are amazing. Good price for Cabana's!
“Definetly a do-over.”
Don't know where to start. From Ray who helped us to our room, Kim our wait staff at the pool, to Alan our wait staff in the lounge/terrace. I wish I could remember more names. We were treated like royalty! If you want to sit back and enjoy each other's company...this is your place. We miss Henderson already. Thanks to everyone!!
“A great place to stay!”
My husband & I were extremely pleased with the Lowes Hotel. It was beautiful, quiet, and ALL the staff were very friendly. My 6 year old son received a toy when we checked in & was just beside himself! This hotel is SO kid friendly that my son was overwhelmed by all the attention he got. The staff was very accomodating regarding our request for a late check-out, which at every other hotel has been like pulling teeth. I'm not sure we'll ever actually stay 'in' Vegas again!
“Peaceful, wonderful place to enjoy Las Vegas”
Hotel and surrounding area were gorgeous. The pool and lake area were wonderful, although weather was a little too hot to enjoy for long. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. An extra, unique bonus with this hotel was the Garden Tour with Fabulous Ed (Loews landcape manager) who was extremely entertaining while being informative about what plants work both in Lake Las Vegas as well as in my local area. This is a great choice for your Las Vegas stay if you want to escape the hurried pace and crowds on the strip.
“excellent service”
Very quiet and relaxing; the private cabana by the pool was like having access to my living room.
“Worth the drive”
Very relaxing hotel. Well maintained. Good for children. Very friendly accommodating staff.

Lake Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America: Like The Strips glitz and the glamour, the 320-acre Lake Las Vegas is wholly man-made. Upscale, Mediterranean-style casinos, golf resorts, and private villas ring the waters edge. Although large, Lake Las Vegas is a mere puddle compared to another nearby man-made lake: Lake Mead. Covering 247 square miles, Lake Mead is held in place by the Hoover Dam, a tourist attraction in its own right.
