Nice enough hotel, nothing fancy

Posted 22-Oct-2014
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly, the hotel is clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Better access to the pool facilities, most seats were reserved all day with nobody ever using them. The pool facilities closed at 6pm.
Location: The hotel is located on the south end of the strip, it is close to the airport which can be a little noisy at times.
Overall, our stay was okay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was not as impressive as other casinos on the strip. It is average with limited facilities, few restaurants and really leaves you going to other places for better selection.

Great hotel excellent location. Highly recommend!

This place was awesome. It was very clean and the staff was curtious and helpful. The rooms were a nice size and comfortable. The shower could use some maintenance but that was our only issue. The location was ideal. We were within walking distance of all the Vegas hot spots. And we were able to utilize the hotel shuttle service to and from the airport.

Good Hotel - Great Location

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Clean looking, service
Cons: Repair bath tap so it does not look like it is going to come off the wall. Remove $19.99 charge or include it in stated room cost when booking
Location: Away from busy area, on the strip, New York Hotel with rollercoaster, 2 nearby supermarkets, 30mins walk to "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.
Not the mega casino hotel like Belagio/MGM Grand so I liked it. Location was great - it is away from the very busy central area of Belagio and Venetian Hotel area, which I liked but meant long walks to get there. There is a kiosk close to MGM Grand on the Las Vegas Blvd side which we made use of to get cheap tickets. We had a bouble bed room which was spacious. But a cupboard handle was missing which I reported and the bath tap looked like it was coming off the wall to to the use of lever for switching between tap and the shower. We were on the 16th floor, back tower, facing towards the New York New York Hotel, so had great views. Did not hear any noise form the airport. There was a lack of wall sockets in the room - only one. Gadget charging points were provided in between the two towers. Did not use pool/gym but used one of the pool-side restaurant for Breakfast. That was fine. For some unknown reason they charge a mandatory $19,99 per room per day in the pretext of providing Gym/Pool/Internet, etc, but we only used internet (they say most/all hotel charge this). They should NOT charge this on TOP of the room cost. Internet is 1MB per day else additional $9.99 for 5MB per day. This is only available from the rooms, I could not access it from the front of the hotel. Overall hotel feels good.

Decent

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Clean premises. Friendly staff.
Cons: An airport shuttle would be very nice, as taxicabs were on average >$20 per trip.
Location: Good location at the beginning of "the strip". Walking distance to attractions, though not quite close enough that I'd wear high heels/dress shoes.
Vegas itself is quite expensive, so I think the cost of the room is fair. Although I didn't have a negative experience per se, I'd investigate other lodging options next time I go to Vegas.

Rose rules!

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: The staff were friendly and very nice facilities.
Cons: Maybe more food options esp as I didn't order room service due to the waiting time.
Location: Can take a short walk to the free monorail and get all the way down to the other side of the strip. The location of this hotel is perfect!
I'd been in Las Vegas and Tucson for a week and arrived at this hotel exhausted. I was checked in by Rose, who was very friendly and arranged a room upgrade for me. This was a fantastic gift from the hotel and all I can do is thank Rose for her incredible customer service- this lady deserves a raise! She explained everything about the hotel, how to get the wifi and made sure my stay was as comfortable as possible.

A walk that could be a step to far for seniors.

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: situation, car parking, near airport, hotel was clean and modern as were the rooms.
Cons: It is a major cost factor but some areas need more staff, senior management need to walk the store and earn their bread!!!.
Location: shows MGM, Monte Carlo ,New York-New York, dining options great with varied prices. At the start of strip and the best end to be.
nice room, lifts good, reception might be more pro active to customers, staff tend to wait for you to ask rather than make helpful suggestions. Your breakfast staff are very helpful and management of that area is first class, (reception please note and learn). However, overall a pleasant week was spent with you..............;..

Only ok

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Cons: Definitely the pool area. The bars are not great. The 'Chillin ' bar actually feels like its been stuck there as an after thought
Location: Again, location only ok. towards the top of the strip.
Actual room was clean and ok, as was the rest of the hotel. However the pool area is small for how many people were using it. We stayed Thurs to Sunday and everyday the pool was full and had trouble finding a bed. There was another pool connecting through doors to the main pool area and even though the main pool was overflowing they did not open the other pool.
