Nice hotel for pricePosted 17-Sep-2014
We were in the Club Tower so the walk is pretty long from registration to room. They had a satellite Starbucks at our end which made mornings nice! Staff was friendly and helpful and hotel was very clean.

First time stay at TropicanaPosted 16-Sep-2014
I've been to Vegas many times- LOVE VEGAS! My husband & I have never stayed at the Tropicana before. This time I was traveling alone coming for a weekend wedding. I was very comfortable my whole time at the Tropicana. I was treated with exceptional customer service. I loved the fact that to get to the pool, one didn't have to walk through the entire casino!! I came home to Portland & told my husband we're going back & staying at the Tropicana.. I want him to see for himself. Thank you for a great experience.

OK in a pinchPosted 15-Sep-2014
Stayed here for a conference recently. Facility was tidy, although the room I had felt very dated. The staff was nice enough- just not enough to offset my disappointment with the hotel overall. I understand the hotel has recently been renovated, I don't know which part or which rooms.

Good facilities for business tripPosted 15-Sep-2014
Pros: Large comfortable bed with good range of pillows.
Cons: Could do with quieter air con but it was not a problem
Fast and reliable internet, coffee shop close to room, plenty of power sockets and lights on the large working desk. If you want to gamble there are plenty of choices in the lobby or from the surrounding hotels, all accessed via walkways and monolrail. Hotel staff were top notch, nothing was too much trouble and when you need to work they just leave you in peace.

Room access easy to get to. Would have liked a better view of the strip. Bathroom floor very slick. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommended to a friend !

On the stripPosted 14-Sep-2014
Pros: I find everything to be okay.
Cons: I would decorates the room a little more.
Location: The location is perfect. The movie theater was right near by the outlets were not far and the stores on the strip were convenient to get to.
I visited Vegas in July and we stayed on the strip at the Tropicana. I loved my stay at the hotel and the staff was very nice. I would stay at the Tropicana again and I highly recommend others to stay. Looking forward to returning again in the near future. Tropicana is located in an excellent spot. It is in the heart of everything which I truly enjoyed.

Excellent now with refurbishment of hotelPosted 14-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean and friendly
Cons: More eating facilities
Location: South end of the strip with access to everything
Friendly staff, clean hotel, superb room, great location at the end of the south of the strip. Just a bit disappointed with the pool area. Only one of the pools was open and no where in the shade to sit if you were not a VIP guest.

Very poorly maintainedPosted 14-Sep-2014
Tub had a porcelain chips and rusted, non smoking room had burns on night tables with initial carved in them. Had to walk thru casino with bathing suit. The maid didn't take care of room properly. New close tag was there the whole time, you could see it because it was on the orange couch. There was a hidden resort fee of $19.99 a day that we were not told about. Casino was was small and lacking a good choose of gaming machine. We mostly just slept there. We did our gambling elsewhere like New York New York. The promotion they have is a gaff. They said we could use it on the slot machine and tables. We tried to use it on my favorite slot wheel if fortune and it wouldn't work. We had somebody come to see what we were doing wrong and they said it wouldn't on all slots. Call casino host and never got back to us. She said she was going to monitor us and she would get in touch with us. She never did. Just was right for us. We are looking for a full service hotel. We went to see quite a few other hotel and they were better and wanted to do more for you.
