Location, location.. right in the middle of the strip. Clean and convenient!

“Good value for money”

If you just want a basic room to crash in after a day of poker (or whatever is your thing) then this will do you. Central to the main poker venues on the strip and good value for money.

“Got what I paid for”

Excellent location. Rooms are tired and outdated but clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly front desk and cleaning staff. FREE WIFI internet. I'd stay again for the price and location.

“Good hotel, good price, good location”

Basic hotel, but pretty clean (they came everyday) and very good place on the Strip. You don't have the same experience that in staying in the big casinos, but you are walking distance from almost everything worth seeing on the Strip. Don't expect a fancy breakfest: juice, muffins and danish. Nothing is "fresh baked", but instead individually wrapped with a good amount of sugar... The room "on the pool" was pretty quiet, but the one "on the parking" was a little bit noisy, but you don't expect to sleep a lot in Vegas anyway. The staff was very nice and helpfull.

“Great deal!”

This is the place to be if you are planning on seeing lots of sights and doing lots of partying (in other words, not staying at your hotel very long). It is really close to a lot of action, and the price was right.

“Decent Enough”

The room was pretty basic, but fine since the plan wasn't to spend too much time in the hotel. Maintenance needs some work as the bathroom was very worn out and looked it, the walls were super thin (I heard the guy next door snoring), the standing lamp in our room didn't work, the carpeting was very worn through, almost patchy in all of the common walking areas. However, the beds were clean and neatly tended and they have free wi-fi. That's all that really mattered to me.

“A place to sleep”

No complaints since it was just a place to crash after a long night.

“Cheap hotel on the Strip”

Great location right on the strip between MGM and Paris. This is a basic no frills hotel - didn't sleep there much anyway!

“Perfect”

If you want a hotel placed on the Strip for a reasonable fare the Travelodge South is perfect. The hotel is in a quite safe area. As a traveler with some experience I know you have to understand the difference between people looking like dangerous people and real dangerous people . By the way, I saw pickpockets in Las Vegas but it was in a very fancy hotel surroundings. I liked the complimentary breakfast.

“Good Location, Cheap Price, Get what you pay for! :-)”

Awesome location in the middle of the strip, couldnt find a cheaper better option...Great for new years too as the price didn't go up rediculously! Not exactly luxary as you get what you pay for but comfortable large rooms with TV, coffee machines, safe deposit boxes and good bathroom. Very helpful staff at the front desk. Would definately recommend for Vegas on a budget!
