“Vegas excursion.”
There were a couple of things I didn't like. There were no explanations on how to operate the TV and DVD player. The remote had to be programmed and the TV picture was fuzzy on some channels. It would be nice if they provided a more detailed map of the surrounding streets. We got lost a couple of times. We noticed some wear and tear throughout the rooms and there were several sheets, pillowcases and towels left in the clothes dryer.
On a more positive note the staff was very nice. If you want to get away from congestion this location is nice. It's more like a regular neighborhood, not a noisy casino atmosphere. You'll need a car if you want to go to The Strip, though.
Area recommendations
This location was okay if you're not there to gamble a lot. However, I think I prefer the part of Las Vegas which is toward the west of Las Vegas Blvd. The Cliffs is toward the north part of town, I think.
Must see
Boulder Dam and the new bridge above the dam. You can even walk on the bridge walkway. Quite a view. Go early in the day to avoid lots of traffic. Weekdays you want to try to head back into town before commute time, also. It can get very congested and slow.
