“Great place to stay in VEGAS with kids”

We stayed in the BORA BORA room and it was great. Full kitchen was stocked and we also had a washer and dryer. Granite countertops were very nice. The bathroom was huge with a steamer in the shower which my wfe loved. A local grocery store was just down the road to save money from eating out all the time. Hotel is close to everything in Vegas and just south of the strip. Hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. The pool and lazy river was great. For the money this place can't be beat especially with kids. We came into town for the MONSTER JAM FINALS at Sam Boyd Stadium and this hotel was only a 20 minute drive from that. Get a rental car and your all set. FYI the rental car facility for Vegas is right behid the hotel also so that was nice and easy also.

“Awesome Stay at the Village!”

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. It was a short drive from the main strip...about 2 miles but they had a shuttle that ran often. The room was very spacious and beautiful. It was a little chilly outside but the pool, lazy river and hot tub looked great. The hotel was conveniently located next to outlet shopping and very close to several local eateries. The staff was extremely helpful. Parking wasn't a problem either and was free. I've already recommended the hotel to everyone I know and will definitely stay there any time I travel to Las Vegas.

“Loved the Tropical Hawaiian theme and lush landscaping!”

This was everything I was told it would be, and saw in the pictures. We had the 1 BR kitchenette, which for us was sufficient. I will say that the "mood" lighting throughout was a bit lacking. There was no light in the kitchen area over the sink to see what you were doing. It was nice to have a small LR separated from the BR, with it's own TV. The TVs need to be upgraded to flat screens to stay with the times. The LR had a foldout sofa bed that we did not try, but was kind of hard even for sitting on watching TV when in the sofa position. The bathroom was spacious, but there was virtually no vanity space for curling irons, makeup and toiletries. I found myself setting them on the floor most of the time, when there was an adjacent wall that was completely bare and could have had shelves or a shallow cabinet that would have helped. The pool area was fabulous, landscaped with palm trees and even a sandy area for kids to build sand castles. It was life-guarded very well also. We tried the other pool area, which was the lazy river, and enjoyed floating around on an inner tube too. We had lunch at Tahiti Joe's, which also had a wonderful lunch and Hawaiian theme, and the food was very good. Nice to have 2 restaurants available right on the premises. There was also a free shuttle that dropped you off at New York New York or the Mirage, every half hour, so transportation was not an issue. I would definitely recommend it, and would stay there again myself.

“Loved This Hotel !!!”

Love this place ! Stayed Jan 29th. 2009.Great room with EASY access to our car. Room 3109A I think. We had read about car parking being a hassle and people having long walks but we were pleased.Parking was free under car ports. Room did not face pool but an empty sand lot. Never heard any planes or people. Avoided the timeshare folks by not checking in with my husband. I actually arrived on a different flight later during the day. They asked him if we had booked shows etc. and he said that I had done it all. Then they said to make sure I called them when I got in to get my welcome package. Which we didn't ! Also ignored the flashing message light on the telephone with another welcome message. We were left in peace ! We had a junior suite and it was lovely. Please see the photos. The marble kitchenette was handy. Toaster, micro, fridge etc. THE ONLY thing that we didn't like was the fact that they do not have wifi. However the McDonald's across the street has it available for a fee. The pool was gorgeous ! It was definitely a spot where a family could enjoy a day. One side is a sandy beach where toddlers could walk in to the pool. Lazy river was not yet built but it will just add to the outdoor experience when it's done. Stay here you won't be disappointed...

“Wow- an awesome place!”

Terrific place to stay! One bedroom suite was excellent. Clean , extremely comfortable, great appliances & furnishings. Pool area was beautiful. Has shuttle to the strip. Very near the airport. Couldn't ask for better off- strip hotel to stay.

“Will definatly stay here again.”

The check in was fast and friendly. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Not one person we met was anything less then fantastic. The room was huge, the beds comfortable. There was no outside noises. Everything was perfect.

“Great off strip Hotel, perfect for families”

Great off strip hotel. Stayed 3 days and never went near the strip although others in our party used the convenient hotel shuttle to do so. It is only a short walk to big discount mall which was nice. The rooms are GREAT. This is actually a time-share place which apparently rents out unsold rooms as hotel rooms. There is NO hassle or sales pitch however, we were just treated as hotel guests. The pools are very nice and heated and there are daily family friendly activities in the activity room, just check the schedules. I did notice several conflicting schedules though so ask!!

“Great off strip location for families”

Our family was looking for an off strip property for our family of 4. This property is great for families. Clean, free of the heavy smoke smell, great pools and activites area for kids, minus the casino feel. We upgraded to the one bedroom with a full kitchen which was well worth the money. Almost 1000 sq. ft. was much more comfortable than a typical hotel room. We travel to Vegas often for family visits and this is our new hotel of choice.
