“Riviera Hotel - Great stay and great price”
The beds were super comfortable! A little bit away from the center or the strip but for $7.50 you can use the bus for 24 hours and it doesn't take long to get anywhere you want to go.
“A bit run down. Dusty”
1. The first room had a bigger sink replaced so the bathroom door could not be closed. No money to buy a sink that fits? 2. Second room was better but very dirty and dusty under the beds and inside the air conditioner. I had to buy allergy pills from the store downstairs. 3. Foods in the buffet restaurant was terrible. I felt sick after eating in there the first night. The Chinese Restaurant was good. We ate there almost every evening except one evening when we had Indian food in the Food Court. It was good too.
“Enjoyed our stay! Will be back!”
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was always clean. The bed was not very comfortable and we did not like the pillows on the bed at all. It is a little out of the way from the rest of the strip but if you are looking for a place to stay that is a little quieter it would be perfect.
“Ok”
OK
“Great Value for your dollar”
Booking in advance and paid less than half regular rate.
“Coul be better”
Let's face it, the Riv can't help it's location at the far end of the strip. But if I am paying resort fees, I want a hotel that has workout equipment newer than the stoneage. More tv channels. staff that pretends to care. A world class buffet that actually has fresh food. And I don't think I should have to pay an extra money to use a sauna or whirlpool. That is what the fees are for. Try harder Riv, or continue fading into obscurity.
“Great location, low prices”
Riviera is good enough for travelers who looking for a cheap vacation. But Casino is pretty small. By the way, I like the show "Crazy Girls". Nice!
“6 days ay the Riviera”
The Riviera was about what we expected, it is an older hotel with a lot of history, We were fortunate check in was timely for us but there were long lines at times. Our room was clean,m maid service was good, we ate at the buffet a couple of times and it was fine. Staff was friendly, only issue was with the Business center. as we had 3 connecting flights it would have cost $$$ to print off boardinhg pass's Did it at airport for free. There was a bus stop out front, we rented a car at the hotel, from Hertz and got show tickets at the Expedia desk and were both quite painless.
“Going back in March of 2012...”
good place...
“Poor Service On First Night”
The Riviera Hotel was where we stayed at in Vegas. While the rooms were nice and some of the staff later on was helpful, some of it wasn't so good. On our first night, we didn't get very much help at all from the girl on the front desk. She didn't give us a map, explain to us on how to get around the hotel, or anything. She just handed the key, half-heartedly told us how to get to the room (and not in a very clear manner) and just hurried us off. It was very difficult when we just got off the plane and were exhausted of dragging our luggage around. Thankfully, we did find staff members later who were helpful. But I do think the hotel needs a change in their staff. If they don't make changes, then I can't recommend them.
