“Will go back again!”
Other than the horrible service, as usual, from American Airlines we had a great trip! The hotel was clean and the 1 bedroom was exactly as advertised. Full Kitchen, large front room, all 4 of the tv's worked, floor to ceiling windows were clean and it was a nice touch having the huge jetted tub in the bedroom as well. One night the jets on the tub would not work but with one phone call and a 2 minute wait they were in our room and had it working fine. Pleasant staff and our view from the 51st floor was like a postcard! Great value, great room and great location. We were told that it has been bought and will soon be a Hilton hotel so we hope that they are able to maintain the current standards that PH has already set.
“PH Review”
We've been looking forward in staying at the PH Westgate for many years. However, it turned out to be one of our greatest disappointments. The room was small and the quality was something less than you would find at a small cheap motel. The toilet paper was cheap and rough. The toilet didn't work, the room smelled and seemed to be worn out even though this is a newly built place. The service was mediocre at best and so on. We couldn't wait to get out of there. If we had not arrived so late and had already pre-registered and were were tired, we would have terminated our registration and gone to another resort upon going to our room.
“very impressed with the hotel, the only trouble was valet parking in our arrive.”
the room is very luxury
“Not even as good as MGM.”
Won't go there again. Parking, service, everything a mess.
“Really nice room..awesome view”
Really nice everything is there shopping casino restaurants it was right on the strip no complaint!
“Would not stay here again”
This hotel is simply for the 21 year olds, as it was packed with them this weekend. The location was nice and the room was not bad although, a bit small. BUT when we returned to our hotel room at 3 am, the music was blasting in two of the rooms close to our room. Hoping that it would stop at some point, I didnt call the hotel security until 5 am. waited for 15 mins, no security showed up on the 50th floor. Then called again and expressed frustation. This time, they showed up after 15 minutes and shut down the music. at this point, the hall way was quiet, but the room above was playing some techo. We couldnt take it anymore and asked to switch rooms so we could sleep. At first they said they didnt have any rooms, then they finally switched our room to a lower floor. The reason it is less expensive then other hotels is because it is to attract the younger crowd. It was packed with young kids who came to party in Vegas. I would not stay here again. I rather pay extra and stay at Wynn and/or Encore, where we stayed before and it was nice!
“regular suite is NOT a suite. It is nothing more than a regular size hotel room with a mini bar”
not what i expected
“Satisfied to the bone”
I stayed in the one bedroom suite, and the room had all the amenities of being home. It took a committed effort to leave the room :)
“Horrible Experience”
I was on a business trip and chose the Planet Hollywood Westgate Towers because of the great location and price. We checked into a standard room and found it to be less than clean and maintained. The shower faucet did not work properly. It didn't close completely when showering so shower pressure was very low. We found liquor boxes, plastic flasks and an oreo cookie underneath our bed. Also, some of the towels were dirty. Makes you wonder if the sheets were clean. Anyways, we complained and received an upgrade to a one bedroom. That was the only silver lining to out stay. Also, as we were checking out, we saw the police there with another hotel guest. We overheard her conversation with them. Apparently she was harassed by some other guest in the elevator and was filing a formal complaint. I can't believe that this hotel has rowdy guests on a Wednesday during the day! Also, there was a bum sitting in the lounge all day. Doesn't seem like they have good security. Definitely not family oriented, alot of seedy people. Doesn't feel safe. Also, the staff seemed apathetic and untrained. Also, room service was lackluster. So bottom line, do not be tempted to stay at this hotel even though the price is right.
“A nice surprise”
I was pleasantly surprised by the luxury at an affordable price. It's a 5 minute walk from the strip through the mall and has a fantastic pool area.
