Service

Posted 28-Jan-2015
Pros: The atmosphere and restaurants were great!
Cons: The rooms could be a little more upgraded...
Location: Location was great...and so much to do nearby and at the hotel itself.
The staff service, was great but the rooms were alittle outdated. But overall the stay was great!

It's vegas

Posted 28-Jan-2015
Pros: Location. Inexpensive
Cons: Coffe pot in the rooms
Location: On the strip in Vegas
Location on the strip. Very motel like room. Nothing special, but ok and inexpensive. Read the fine print on room charge rebate promo. No coffee machine in the room.

Hotel staff were very gracious and helpful.

We spent three nights at the New Yorker. Despite the construction around the outside of part of the hotel is was not disruptive to our stay. The restaurants inside were fine. We enjoyed the step dancer at the Irish Pub. The food at the American was fairly priced for breakfast, which was otherwise pretty expensive in the area. The casinos took more than they gave but that's to be expected. I would stay here again.

Nice

Posted 28-Jan-2015
Pros: It has comfortable beds and very clean bathroom.
Cons: The expensive food in the food court could be improved. Maybe throwing more discounted coupons for restaurants. Some furniture and carpet is outdated
Location: The Restaurant America was pretty good. That is where I went for breakfast. The food court has various food restaurants that look very appealing.
I booked for a 3 night stay and asked to be put In a floor that wouldn't be too noisy, which surprisingly it was real quiet for being in vegas. I also had all my requests tended to really quick. The room was really clean and the bathroom! I just wish they would of had coffee makers in the room. The beds were comfortable as well. I just don't like that the front desk is in the slot machines areas. All in all, where your in vegas you are only in your room to sleep and all you want is a comfortable and clean room, especially when visiting as a family. Also, try nyny cheescake at the Greenwich Cafe. I think they also sell it at the America restaurant.

Need a family hotel for this trip

Posted 27-Jan-2015
Pros: Clean Family Friendly Casino & Hotel moderalty priced ( not tooo cheep not too expensive)
Cons: More food options, inprovements to arcade
Location: Love the location! Easy to access other hotels at lesiure MGM, Luxor, Monte Carlo, Excaliber
We wanted a family hotel to stay at while attending a Cheer Competition at the Orleans. We needed something for the kids to do too. This place has a decent arcade with rollercoaster is conveniently located to cross the street to the MGM and Excalibur and to hope on the tram to Luxor and Mandalay bay. We love to get the NY Pizza the quality and taste are great and fast eat when we don’t have time to waste at a sit down meal. We like the fact that casino is moderately priced not too high end not a dump. The casino is comfortable for day and night gaming. We asked for connecting rooms in the Madison Rooms. These rooms were a little more. The front desk worked with me to meet my request and these rooms are Large for 4-6 people very spacious and comfortable and a little newer. View is not great, but might be better when construction is complete. Connecting rooms made our group enjoy our stay even more.
