“Perfect hotel for Aviation Nation.”

Right across the street from Nellis AFB and the perfect hotel for Aviation Nation. I had two rooms separated with a full size fridge, dishwasher, oven, cabinets, and more. It looked like a small apartment. I would recommend taking public transportation there since taxis would cost a lot from the airport.

We went to the races with a group-. this hotel served all our needs. We loved this location and the kitchen to cook our meals.

For the price I paid I was extremely impressed with this hotel.

“Good Concept-Just Old”

The hotel staff is wonderful, very organized and accommodating. The room was a good size and had all the amenities of home but..........everything was very old = old appliances, old carpet, old hard bed and the loudest air conditioners in the world. Our toilet seat enamel was rubbed totally off-ugh. With a little fix-up this could be a nice place. Oh and they had the nerve to raise prices when they found out our convention was coming to town, but everyone does that. Being close to the event and cooking for ourselves was the only plus. I'll stay on the strip in a major hotel from now on.

“Decent place for reasonable price”

On major holidays, parking can be difficult to find.

Very nice clean and neat place. Of course not a 5star hotel, but if you don't need all the luxury and pretentious things, thats the place for you.

“Thin walls, but quiet”

I stayed at the Nellis Suites Main Gate because I had to be in Las Vegas, but I wanted to get away from the lights & noise of Downtown or the Strip. This hotel was well priced, and set up for a comfortable extended stay. If you need to be close to the Air Force base, or Mike O'Callaghan Federal Hospital, this is an ideal spot. The room was clean, with good but basic appointments. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but the sink is outside the shower/toilet so it is still usable if someone is in the bathroom. A/C, TV and Wireless Internet all worked fine. There are some good restaurants in walking distance, and a WalMart just down the street. The area is a bit sketchy after dark. The hotel was safe, though. The walls were rather thin. I could hear the Base bugle calls and aircraft throughout the day -- not a problem for me, but something for civilians to be aware of in choosing this hotel. Overall, I would stay here again. Nothing fancy, but a good budget place for a longer stay.

“Old and hammered, but big rooms and nice pool”

So this hotel kind of tough to review. Better to list pros and cons and let you decide. Pros 1. Huge rooms and closets with full sized kitchens. 2. Allows 4 kids, the rooms could handle more actually. You could actually sleep kids in the closets they are so huge! 3. Well maintained rooms. Everything was surprisingly clean, caulked, painted and functional. 4. Very nice warm pool and hot tub. Again maintenance was very good. 5. Nice staff 6. Good price Cons 1. Our bed was like sleeping on the floor. We had to bring in our air mattresses to be able to sleep. How do you even get a mattress that hard? My kids was better, but still... This is the reason we won't recommend this hotel. 2. Way hammered. Furniture and appliances had taken a serious beating. The carpet was frightening!! Remodel please! 3. Location is supposedly scary, but we had no trouble at all. It is right next to the base, but we must have been lucky and had no air traffic noise to speak of. It was really very quiet and nice. Guess this shouldn't be a con. So if you want somewhere cheap to bring your big family with a nice pool, and you don't care about the beds, this is your place.

“Great value for the money.”

This was a nice hotel right next to the air force base. The rooms were good enough. I loved the mini kitchen and front room. That, along with a warm and heated pool (in March) made this hotel a great option. The blinds on the windows were not that good. You had to carefully place the blinds so that people could not see in. Overall, it was a good experience.
