“Outstanding quality”

While Mandaly Bay is not easy on the pocket book, remember you are in Vegas. Top notch vacation experience, and the service delivered was comensurate with the price. This is at the southern end of the strip and doesn't encorage the crowding that you see in the mid-strip hot spots normally. Other than the heat of the summer months, the walk to the active part of the strip is very easy and actually a fun way to burn calories after a big meal.

“Liked it”

I liked almost everything about the hotel. The pools are great, though crowded. Two things that I did not like: - To get anywhere we'd need to walk thru casino, where smoking is allowed. Thus we ended up inhaling a lot of smoke. - The hotel is at the end of the Strip. Staying in the middle of the Strip would be more fun.

“Great experience”

The Mandalay Bay was more than we had hoped. It is family friendly, had beautiful facilities, comfortable rooms and attentive staff. The pool area was perfect for kids and had areas for adults to escape. Food was first rate throughout the hotel. The wave pool does have a height requirement, so be prepared, but lazy river accomodates all. There are peak days and busier times when we had problems finding a chair, but still managed. Staff will help if you find them.

“Vegas 2011”

This hotel is great! Our primary reason for going to Vegas was to attend a wedding but we extended our trip to 6 days and 5 nights to get some "alone time". My husband and I chose Mandalay Bay because the majority of the wedding party was staying there. Neither of us had ever been to Vegas (as adults) so we took the recommendation of others regarding the hotel. We are so happy we did! While Mandalay is not in the center of the strip it takes only minutes to get to where the action is. The free tram from Mandalay to Luxor and Excalibur was nice as it brought us much closer to the busier part of the strip. On our trip we had time to sight-see and walk through many other hotels and I would still choose Mandalay over the others. While the Venetian, Caesars, and Bellagio are very nice and everyone going to Las Vegas should tour them, I would still recommend Mandalay over them because it is just as nice and there is not so much "foot traffic" going through the hotel. It is much less crowded in the casino and lobby areas than the other hotels but still has a lot to offer as far as shopping, entertainment, restaurants, and, what seemed like, one of the largest gaming areas. We will definitely stay there again!!

“1st but definitely not last”

The hotel Mandalay Bay was modern, very clean, friendly service and everyone was helpful. Although at the end of the strip it was easy to get to all other hotels. There's tram that goes from Mandalay Bay to Excalibur which is free. The bed in the room is soooooooooooo comfy you sleep like a log (not that you're going to want to sleep when all the casinos are calling you) the bath is massive. The rooms are quiet you can't hear the traffic outside or your neighbours we were on the 10th floor. I recommend this hotel if you want to be away from the busy/noisy part of the strip.

“Tram Stops”

Very nice hotel. Only problem I found was that the tram to Luxor and Excalibur stops at 3 or so in the morning which is sometimes when you want it the most.
