“Unbelievable”

This was my first trip to Vegas and it was great. Check-in at the airport was quick and easy. All the employees were very nice and helped us with anything. If you plan on being up late McDonalds is about all you have to eat. The pool was very nice, the lazy river is only open on the weekends but was very relaxing. The room was alright, but we didn't spend much time there anyway. I'd go back tomorrow if I could.

“simply wonderful”

it was my second time in vegas and this hotel for sure beats my expectation. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite, also i noticed there was no standing around and everybody was doing there job. the room was great, very clean and a fairly good view over the strip. the restaurants are absolutely recommendable and inviting, style and service are amazing. plenty of entertainment offered here. only negative note is the noise coming from the nearby rooms where it seems the walls are to thin to give you full privacy. the bathroom with a bath tub is a plus. i think that the rate as a four star hotel is not generous enough, this could be easy a 4.5

“MGM Grand- Grand is Right!!”

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is our second time back and we will more than likely stay again. We are both non-smokers and we didn't even notice the smoke in this hotel. We were checked in by a friendly staff and we stayed in a deluxe room, when we first got to our room it was very nice but it didn't face the strip so one quick phone call to the front desk and they had another room for us that faced the strip. Also, I would recommend the pools in this hotel, the staff is great. We had a massage by the pool for both of us for little money and besides that your by the pool which is great! Also the monorail connects here which is a great way to get around. It goes far with connections in between. Also I would recommend taking in a Cirque show. The conservatory in the is another great to take in on your trip. The MGM is a wonderful hotel, it is clean and enormous. You can tell just how great it is when you walk in. It smells very clean too unlike some of the smokey casinos of the past. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get away from it all.

“Amazed!”

Having never been to Vegas before, I wasn't sure what to expect. The MGM is a stunning hotel, absolutely humongous, with a great variety of restaurants, and excellent though small rooms (we stayed in the West Wing, which if you don't care about the slightly smaller room size, I thoroughly recommend).

“An excellent stay!”

We stayed in the West Wing for our last min trip to Vegas in Nov. The room was lovely, clean, very contemporary (just my style!) and comfortable. Hotel check in at the Airport is very convenient (by the luggage carousels) and check if there is a free shuttle to and from the airport. Breakfast at the Grand Buffet was excellent although go a little earlier to avoid queues! The Grand Wok was also great for an evening meal. The Studio Cafe is open 24 hours and serves full meals after 10pm (great for dinner after a show) as most restaurants close at 11pm and some other 24 hour cafes in other hotels don't serve a dinner menu after this time. The hotel also has many other great dining options! We really enjoyed our drinks at the Centrifuge Bar, where the bar staff were extremely friendly! Definitely book tickets to see Ka by Cirque Du Soleil at the MGM, its such an amazing show. Visibility is pretty good in all seats! (Sign up to Cirque Du Soleils Cirque Club for ticket deals!) Location of the MGM is great, not too far a walk from other hotels and casinos, the bus/trolley stop is close by and the Monorail station also within the hotel. The MGM Grand did not seem as smoky as many of the other hotels, all in all a very pleasant stay!!

“The best location on the Strip”

MGM is at the beginning of the strip and is therefore an ideal starting point for sightseeing and getting around the Strip. The entrance is breathtaking - marble and gold everywhere. Definitely lives up to it's grand name. The check in was straightforward. The rooms I will admit looked a bit tired but they were clean and comfortable and the service all round was excellent. The corridors around the hotel rooms could do with some decoration as it looked a bit sparse. However, these gripes are minor. I stayed here for the opportunity to say that I slept in the largest hotel in the world. There are a wealth of restaurants and bars in the MGM so you don't even need to venture far although we ate out a lot. We missed the experience of the Grand buffet because we went to a show on our last night and it finished when the restaurant was closed. I could kick myself because we had the unlimited buffet breakfast on our last morning and if that was anything to go by then we missed out big time. So much so, that we are arranging to go back next month. I loved Vegas and the hotel was nice. The pool area was relaxing and you could imagine you were in the Caribbean somewhere. I can't fault the MGM at all.

“Great room, mostly good service”

MGM Grand does very good job from keeping the place smelling great considering it's smoking hotel. Register at the airport counter, you'll be so glad you did after seeing the line in lobby. We had originally booked a room with one king bed but got 2 queens instead. They were very quick in correcting that mistake but we were moved to 10th floor (not much of a view). The entertainments were awesome although restaurants were very pricey. Male staff at bell desk were quite rude but the rest of the staff were very nice if not genuine. Definitely will go back again, they have pretty high standards for Vegas.

“Would go again!”

Myself and my girlfriend just returned from Vegas, spent just under a week at MGM. Overall we had a great time. The hotel was vast, apparently the biggest in the world. The restaurants there can be a bit pricey, we ate at a Chinese called 'Pearl', we had a great meal with impecable service. There are also more casual places to dine. We saw 2 shows during our stay at MGM, David Copperfield and KA. Both were excellent, but the shows are not cheap. We ate breakfast at the MGM grande buffet, and at a resonable price you cant complain. They pretty much have anything you can think of for breakfast from fruit, yogurt and cereals to the usual egg, bacon, sausage, waffles, pastries, pancakes etc etc...! Service was excellent.
