“Nice quiet place off the strip”
Nice, clean, quiet place to stay off the strip. I will stay here again.
“Great for Softball families!”
We came to Las Vegas for a softball showcase. This hotel was very accommodating to our entire team and within 1 mile of '1' of the many fields. Great breakfast-however the hours could have been longer. No eating establishments within walking distance; but the cleanliness and size of the rooms made up for it. Nice area of Las Vegas!
“Decent hotel for the price”
The best part about my stay was the staff. The nice lady behind the counter when I checked in upgraded me to a suite room with a microwave & a fridge with no extra charge although I did stay for 10 days. The room was adequate if not exactly first class. I had to switch out fridges as mine wasn't working and my television set was outdated and many of the channels were dark. She did say that they were in the process of upgrading to flat screens. The bed was relatively comfortable with lots of pillows. I occasionally got refills on my coffee in the room but not always. The breakfast was not all that great. You have a choice of muffins, waffles, cereal or oatmeal but it was adequate enough for me. Beware that the wireless internet in the rooms were extremely slow in the afternoon. Slow enough that you didn't even bother getting on. This bothered me in that I was in town house hunting and I needed constant computer access. Overall it was a nice hotel but I think I'd rather stay in the Hampton Inn next door. One great point was the pool. It was very nice and I had it to myself for the entire stay pretty much.
“A little difficult getting there”
The hotel was very nice and clean. The only issue was the road construction. The 95 north is closed near the hotel so it took a bit longer to drive there. Not a deal breaker, I plan on staying there again.
“Good value, nice room, dirty elevator”
The elevator was positively filthy. Never mopped the entire time I was there. Stains on the vinyl floor that were there on the first day were still there on the third day. Other than that, it was a nice hotel for the money. The staff (one person on duty at the front desk the entire time I was there) was not adept at multi-tasking, which made for some long waits to even answer a simple question.
“Summerlin visit”
Good place to stay if u are going to Suncoast/Red rock. Been there twice, new years, and was basically quiet stays. Wifi, cable with showtime, beds ok and showers excellant.
“I enjoyed La Quinta.”
My daughter and I traveled to Las Vegas for pleasure and to attend a wedding. We arrived late at night to find all of our paperwork was waiting for us and check-in was simple and fast. The hotel staff was exceptional and housekeeping did a wonderful job cleaning the room and providing us with extra coffee and towels at our request. The wakeup call service was dependable and the business district was located close to the hotel. The only complaint I had was that the pool needed to be cleaned but the jacuzzi was clean and the pool area was comfortable. I was very happy with the outer security doors.
“Good, but not great!!”
Well our first room we checked into was gross. There were spit wads on the walls and ceiling. There were also boogers on the wall next to the bed. Big bloody boogers wiped all over the walls. I immediately called the front desk and they had no more regular rooms so they gave us a 1 bedroom suite. We had 2 kids with us who had to sleep on the fold out couch which was very uncomfortable.
“Not impressed”
little trouble with getting rhe right room (non smoking) after being reassured a non smoking room would be available. First room not right ,second room ok. Upon leaving checked drawers to find adult toys in nightstand. Told front desk to have housekeeping check. Won't be coming back
“Some housekeeping problems”
Many aspects of the hotel were great and I especially enjoyed the breakfast and pool. I had a couple of problems that will cause me to choose a different hotel in the future. The was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor behind the bathroom door that housekeeping missed. The room had no washcloths and only two towels. It did have a bar of soap but no shampoo or bodywash. The shower drain did not work well and took 15 minutes to drain after showering. A large dog (German Shepherd size) was left unattended in room across hall for several hours and barked anytime somebody walked down the hall.
