Great place to stay close to the strip. Very basic but clean rooms, great value for the location. only a 5 minute walk to the strip and staff were very friendly.
“Still my preferred spot in Vegas.”
HCH has never disappointed us on five different trips to Vegas. On this trip, we were able to check in earlier than usual and get settled before heading down to the tables. I was quite pleased with speed of checkin and was able to start losing my money at blackjack right away. The room assigned to us was one of the interconnected ones at the end of the hall (Bayview tower - the Ocean View tower is the better of the two options). For this trip there didn't appear to be anyone else in the adjoining room until Friday night, but you can definitely hear other guests when they're rattling around at 3am. If you're in for the weekend and don't intend to party, try to request something without a connecting door. Otherwise you may have to shove a towel under the door to try and reduce noise from the neighbours. Resort fees are generally a terrible concept, but with wired Internet connectivity in the rooms included for the price, I was able to sort out details for a shopping excursion and sort out flight checkin. Much more worthwhile than on previous trips to Vegas. Bathroom and shower were fine. This particular room didn't have issues with shower temperature control - that type of thing is always annoying in lower rate hotels, but it was fine for us. I'll definitely stay again, but next time I'll see if there's something available without an interconnecting door.
“Recent stay”
Enjoyed the stay. Will come again when there is a good deal
“A great stay”
The location was perfect, the service was good and everyone was friendly. The pool was good not to big but big enough to enjoy :)
“Review”
Great food. Great staff. Very Smokey. Careful when you cash in your Hooter points. Beware of timelines to get maximum benefit. I think I may have cashed in too early, then you can't again for 6 months.
“H@@ters was my favourite spot”
All though H##ters hotel could use a minor face-lift. The friendly staff and dealers more than make up for the lack of marble and gold. No where else will the dealers Hi-5 you when you win.
“small gem”
One of the smaller hotels on the strip but quite enjoyed the ease of getting a chair poolside and not having to wait in long line ups at the restaurants. Very convenient location and easy to walk, cab etc to where we needed to be.
“Thumbs up!”
Okay, it does have some wear and tear showing, but overall, and I stayed there for two weeks, it was great! short jump to the strip, airport not so loud. Like most older hotels, you do have to put up with some neighbourly noise seeping through so it helps not to go to bed early if you have noisy neighbours - but this is Vegas! Who goes to bed early???? or sober....
“Pretty Good”
Everything went smoothly, except we couldnt get internet and had to call the front desk for help. Once we did it was fine. Everything was good except there was no coffee in the rooms so we had to go down to the store every morning to get some. Everyone was pretty friendly though.
“Nice, clean, cosy, small Las Vegas Hotel”
Great place to stay in Vegas. We loved the smallness of this place, it's a strength. Friendly staff. They spent $180 million renovating a $30 million Hotel when they came in, and they have kept it up. We liked the pool, and the free Wifi in the room. They have a ethernet connection in every room, the plug is right there. If you are reading this, do yourself a favor and stay here. We have tried 4 Vegas hotels now, and this is the only place we will stay at in the future.
