“Perfect location for our visit to the race track”
Staff was very nice and helpfull. Plus great location just off las vagas BLVD.
“Good stop for a night on the road”
Hotel is NOT downtown. It is easy to access in almost open country, and provides decent basic accommodation.
“Nice Hotel far from Strip”
The Holiday Inn Express in Las Vegas Nellis is a very nice hotel with a fairly good breakfast selection. What is letting it down is the location. If you do not need to be right on the strip, then this is a good option, especially on Friday and Saturday night, when prices of hotels on the strip are astronomical!
“Best you can do....”
Only stayed here as the location is fairly close to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The hotel itself is pretty nice but the neighborhood is clearly not. Pool is very small and the breakfast gets over too early for the weekend..... 9:30?? Rooms were pretty clean. Ice maker on first floor did not work. I called later that evening after check out as I had left an item of clothing in the room. The rather rude man at the front desk said he could not help as the housekeeping had left for the day and he had no way to get into the lost and found. Seemed strange and very inconvenient as I was still in town and only 10 min away so I had to leave them there.
“good service”
the overall experience was good but the bed was too hard on my back
“Nicest place we stayed the whole trip”
Clean nice sized rooms free breakfast what more can you ask for in a motel.
“Not Happy with final night of stay.”
We choose this HIE when we learned of the changing of hands of the Donovan Way HIE. The fact that there were hookers on the street corner as we pulled was a bit shocking to my fiance. But since we were not going to be spending a lot of time at the actual hotel I talked her down on that one. The worse and most outstanding part was our final night. The Sat. night before fathers day. It sounded like the room above us was rented to people intent on playing some kind of jumping video game all night long. {probably while their parents were away gambling} But the MOST obscene thing was at an early morning hour to be rudely awakened by a preacher screaming at me through the air vent about what his god wanted from me, and what I was suppose to do for him. Having a 8 hour drive ahead of me, this was the LAST thing I needed. As the morning went on it got louder and more obnoxious. Being an atheist I thought maybe I was being overly sensitive to these sheep that were in need of someone telling them what a mythological being wanted of them. But no, as I made the many trips to my car with luggage I heard of other peoples grumblings about the makeshift church in a bottom floor room. The fact that they needed a sound system to preach to the handful of people was completely ridiculous. Im quite sure I could have screamed at them from the door and they all would have heard what I had to say. I find it incredibly in poor taste that HIE would let this go on. I could go on but Ive run out of
“Good location”
Easy to locate from I-15. Keeps up to Holiday Inn standards.
“Decent Price for a decent hotel”
Overall pleased with the hotel, the price and breakfast.
“Holiday Inn Express Nellis AFB”
The Fitness Center was adequate for most excercise needs.
