“"Only place I will stay now"”
Only drawback was we felt a little unsafe walking back late at night...although never had a problem . Loved having a balcony to sit out in!
“Home away from home”
Good location, but not really handy walking distance. Great with a car, don't have to drag your bags around a casino lobby. Breakfast could use work by OK. Good value, comfortable, clean, good service. Free Wifi, handy parking and fully equipped kitchen, balcony was a plus.
“Great Stay at the Desert Rose Resort”
The rooms are a little out dated, but the bed is very comfortable. The fridge, the stove and the microwave were very handy !! The complimentary breakfast is very good !! The hotel is very quiet compared to the other one on the Strip and it's non-smoking !!! Approx. 7mins walk to the Strip. We went to Las-Vegas for the Half-Marathon so the location was perfect for us !!! I would recommend this Hotel !!!
“Location is Great and Superb service.”
This is a diamond in the rough. This location is perfect because its located close to the Strip and Thamas and Mack. Very Clean, Staff are very courteous and the breakfast is great.
“Exceeded Expectations”
I was expecting a typical hotel room. Was I surprised to see a full kitchen, living room, dining area and separate bedroom and bathroom. Room had 2 TVs. Every morning we enjoyed the continental breakfast. The location was within walking distance to the strip. Overall, the amenities and the location were fantastic. Would definitely stay there again!
“vegas hidden gem”
Overshadowed by the big casinos this place was a big surprise! Location was great close to the airport, close to the strip a 6 minute walk exactly. I got to vegas early to early for check in, I asked if I could leave my luggage here while I go about and the young lady behind the desk said why don't we see if we can find you a room availble, and she did! Try that at the big casino's ! The room was a 2 bedroom suite, the master had it's own private bathroom. 3 flatscreen t.v.s a kitchen, living room and an outdoor terrace to smoke my cigar. A continental breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon one day sausage the next, cold hot cereal juice and starbucks coffee all day! I I have stayed in many places here and this is now one of my favorites. Price and location, cleanliness high on my list and this fits the bill
“good hotel as no casino to go through & no resort fee”
the hotel is kind of old , need update , the toilet room is very tght, also there is no door or partition between bedroom & sink area, noisy & bright when someone is using the sink, and the bed too soft .
“Miranda”
Very spacious rooms, nice kitchen with all we need, great location. I will recomend this place to stay with your family. I wish the breakfast buffet has more fruit or yogurth. I Like this place!
“Desert Rose”
People at the desk were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Complimentary breakfast was a nice begining to the day. Room was nice ans the location was off the strip just enough if you wanted some quite down time. I would recommend this Hotel to others.
“Charming Resort”
My husband and I were very happy with the choice we made in this Resort. We got a 1 bedroom suite, with 2 TV's. It was clean and spacious. The king size bed was comfortable. I never used the pool, even though I brought my bathing suit. It was November. But it was a heated pool and had a jacuzzi. I did see people using it, but I was just too busy to use the pool. The resort also had an exercise room, which, I never used either. The resort came with a continental breakfast. We ate breakfast every day. The coffee they used was Starbucks brand. The breakfast was not bad either. Scrambled eggs everyday, and bacon 1 day and sausages the next. fruit, cereal, yogert, granola, instant oatmeal, o-juice, tea. Sometimes it was busy, but we always found room to sit down, even if we shared a table with someone. It was nice to have that breakfast, then start the day. Also, Monday - Thursday, they have a complementry managers reception in frount lobby , with wine, beer and small snack. Now were else would you get this in Vegas? The Resort was not a far walk from the strip at all. Close to MGM hotel Coming back to our Resort in the evening was nice as the resort was quiet ( there are no casinos in this resort ) and the frount lobby staff always welcomed you with a " good evening". One good thing for my husband who is a smoker, was that he could smoke on the balcony. They had 2 chairs and a small table outside with an ashtray. I think this is a little gem in Vegas. We will stay here again.
