“Just an average”
Location and surroundings are bad. Comfort is average
“Extremely Impressed!”
Great deal. Free breakfast. Bed was very comfortable. All of the hotel staff (including Denny's) were very personable and great. What more could you ask for?! We told everyone about this place! Can't wait to go back!
“Super convenient, reasonable”
Truthfully, I wasn't too happy about the appearance of the motel but reservations had been made already. The few people milling around outside were deserving of a cautious look but there seemed to be adequate security all around the property. Upon check in, I was very pleased with the customer service. Very nice, helpful, friendly. I was very satisfied. Having a Denny's as part of the motel was super convenient. Room was clean, comfortable, everything I've come to expect from Days Inn. Very close and convenient to the Strip and I-25. If you're looking for a reasonably priced motel, nothing super fancy, this should work for you.
“comfortable hotel”
stayed there to avoid having to drive back and forth for a wild weekend on the strip. The hotel was comfortable, the room was clean and the staff were all so very friendly. I would definitely go back again.
“Great Bargain!”
After reading very favorable reviews, we decided to book this hotel/casino for 9 days. Bedding all new & VERY comfortable. Hot water always there. Pool area very nice. Pool too cold this time of year but hot tub was great. Free breakfast at Denny's everyday-build your own Grand Slam so very healthy some days with wheat pancakes or oatmeal, etc. Make sure you have the cards for these free items from the registration desk. Nice inexpensive laundry room. Half price appetizers & $1 margaritas & draft beer twice a day. Only thing I didn't care for but it is Vegas, is the smoky casino. Rooms are small and taking extra hangers doesn't hurt. The casino has a half size crap table and isn't always open because lots of people are intimidated by this game. Slots are tight. All employees are very friendly and helpful throughout the entire place. It's older but for the price, who cares. We walked to the strip one night. Cross at the light & go up the right side of W. Tropicana. Some of it is a little unpopulated so use caution or go with more than one person if late. It took us about 15 minutes and you come up by the Tropicana, New York/New York, & Excalibar. Tons of parking. Had trouble finding a space one night but didn't realize there is a lower lot. TV always came on at its loudest volume (!?) but was ready with the remote to lower it. Carpets not the cleanest & an edger w/ the vacuum wouldn't hurt.
“You get what you pay for!”
My largest complaint would be the outside noise. The age of the building and the condition of the windows and doors did little to keep out the noise from the surrounding area.
“great for the price”
For the price & location very good
“Great location and price but no diamond in the ruff”
I would not have picked this hotel myself based on the mixed reviews however we were traveling as a group and I wasn't the group leader. I was very happy with the location of the hotel; it is very close in driving distance to the strip. The price was right too however got more expensive than the orginal price because of the resort fee, casino fee, and pet fee. The free Grand Slam and coffee everyday in the adjacent Denny's sure made up for the extra cost though. The room was small but adequate. The room seemed dingy. The A/C rattled everytime it turned on but would stop after a minute for you light sleepers. The people up stairs got up really early in the morning and sounded like they were dancing which woke me up. The hotel was jack hammering in the pool area which woke me up in the morning too. I guess we could've asked to move rooms which would of probably resolved all our issues but just didn't feel like packing up again. I was also afraid my car was going to get broken into because of the scuzzy feel of the hotel. We didn't always get to park in front of our room because we'd get in late each night. There was additional parking out front though. The only reason I recommend this hotel was because of the convient location, good price, and free Grand Slam.
“Days Inn in Vegas”
Great and friendly service and staff. Free Denny's breakfast everyday. Room clean but carpet has stains. King size bed very comfortable. 15 minute walk to Vegas Strip. Nice smaller Casino. Parked my car in frot of our room. Nice pool and hot tub but didn't go in. Would stay there again if I visit Vegas as price is right.
“Not recommendable.”
There is a Resort fee when you book a room there. This is NOT even close to a Casino! They also charge a tax for this Resort fee, which is collected by the establishment when you check out. I think it sucks!
