Very nice hotel with potential improvementPosted 22-Jul-2014
We had a very nice stay at Bellagio, but here are some suggestions for the hotel for potential improvement: 1) add more staff at concierge: we stopped by a few times but there were always long line at concierge; 2) need higher quality of toiletries: the somewhat cheap-looking bottles for shampoo, conditioner etc. bring down the grade of the hotel. They are to me more like the products for 3-star hotels 3) need light quilts for bed in summer time: I woke up during the middle of nights sweating because the quilt in bed was too heavy. Unless you set the temperature to 50 F, it can't be comfy.

Awesome hotel but very costly. Only negative point is the waiting line to check out. We have been upgraded from the cheapest room to a suite for free and it was the best room I ever had.

Beautiful hotel, close to several shows.Posted 21-Jul-2014
Food was very pricey in the hotel. Check in and check out took a very long time. The hotel was beautiful and you could walk (1/2 mile or so) to many of the shows. The food and drinks in the hotel were very pricey but you could walk within a mile or so to eat at a more reasonable price.

5 nights in VegasPosted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: Excellent location, nice staff such as Michael who checked us out via ipad and apologised on behalf of the hotel for the power cut the night before
Cons: I small gesture could have been offered to make up for us not getting the room we requested e.g. drinks voucher etc.
Location: Excellent location situated in the middle of the strip. Close to all amenities.
We found the hotel in an excellent location with the little bit of extra luxury we wanted. The hotel lived up to our expectations internally and externally. Staff were very very helpful and poilte. The only problem we encountered was at check in. I had booked for and paid extra for a fountain view room but had requested 2 queen sized beds as I was in Vegas for the Canello vs Lara fight with a buddy. At check in I was told that my request had been met and that our room contained 2 queen sized beds. When we arrived in our room we found that our room contained 1 king sized bed. I called down to reception in order to be moved to a room with 2 queen sized beds but I was told that none where available with a fountain view but we could ask about availablity tomorrow. After a long journey we didn't really want to keep moving rooms so I asked about the availablity of a room with 2 queen sized beds without the view and was told that one was available. We moved our luggage down a couple of floors and quickly settled into our room overlooking the Rio. The staff were very good but we were a little disappointed that despite several requests and an additional payment (although relatively small) we couldn't enjoy the excellent views of the famous fountains and strip. I know rooms are allocated depending on availability at check in but we had been assured that our room had 2 beds. Despite this I would recommend the hotel and would stay again.
