“You can get a much better hotel for just a bit more”
I don't recommend the hotel for the price. The rate price was good and the rooms although nicely decorated, the black walls were quite depressing. The bar/dance club was pumping the whole night and my older mother and I could hear it the whole night in the room. Furthermore, the entrance to the bar/dance club is right in the middle between the main door and the rooms elevator. Any time you go to your room at night, you have to struggle to get through to get to your room. There is no parking and you must Vale your car, it is not an option. It gets better. someone puke in the hall on our floor and it didn't get cleaned until much later.
“Not Impressed”
This hotel had tile floors. Which means you can hear everything that goes on in the hallway and everywhere else. When someone moved outside we heard it all. Not a good place to stay for that reason. The air conditioning unit would turn on at first and then it would randomly change temperature throughout the night and go to a warmer setting. Then it wouldn't even kick out air anymore. The bathroom shower curtain was not working as it should. There was no inside liner. There were not enough towels in the bathroom for 2 people to use it comfortably. There was no comforter on the bed which would have been nice. The curtains did not completely block out the lights from the city. So if you need darkness to sleep you should stay somewhere else.
“Freeway Hotel.”
Did not expect to be right next to the Freeway and to have the whole entry way set up as a night club. They also had car tint taped onto the windows.
“Not a good choice if you want to sleep.”
The hotel is located just off the I-15 and it doesn't seem to have any type of soundproofing, so all you can hear at any given time is the sounds of the highway, and the sirens. Also there is a pretty popular club on the main floor, which is great, but also it doesn't seem to stop playing music ever! Even during the day all you can hear is the bass. So sleeping is not really an option when staying here.
“Beware!!!”
The hotel has a very unique design. I guess that was partly what caught my interest. Kind of art show meets bordello. The lobby is laid out nice but very dimly lit. Paintings are everywhere including the ceilings. The elevator has red lights to further the bordello effect. The rooms are decent. But on the small side. The biggest problem with this hotel is the DJ that begins playing about 10 pm and does not stop until 7 am the next morning. If you stay on the third floor you get to feel and hear the music all night long. Then if that is not enough, if you are staying on the parking lot side you get to hear the crowd outside your window all night. If you are on the street side you get to hear traffic all night long. It is especially bad when the emergency vehicles go by. And they do all night long. But the thing that clenched my stay were the gunshots that went off right outside the hotel early Sunday morning, about 1am. The only thing I can say positive about my stay is the restaurant has incredibly great food. They said that the chef is one of the best in the country and I believe that. The bar is not bad either. Plenty of TV’s so you should not have a blind spot. Also, the valet parking is a bit annoying. You pay per day and the valets drop strong hints for a tip. Self parking is not an option. Hopefully this review helps in making your decision.

“Horrible beds with springs that poke through”
Love the ambiance but in less you are there to party until dawn ont he weekend or hit the strip clubs ont he street, stay away.
“goyhic run down”
Noisey = Heard the freeway and cops and ambelance sirens through the whole night. Dark halls ways attented a wedding walking out to the court room it was dark and no lights in the room every one was bumbing into chairs (unsafe)
“BEWARE OF THIS DUMP”
BEWARE of this hotel. It is the worst of the worst. The noise from the pool and lounge is unbearably loud and goes till early morning so forget about getting any sleep. The hotel is very old and the air conditioners do not work. Prepare for a hot and noisy vacation if you choose this hotel. The staff is totally clueless and unprofessional. You will get many different answers to the same question. No one knows what is going on there and there is no manager. He quit! I'm not surprised. The service in the restaurant is a total joke. You will wait an hour for a meal when they are not busy. The restaurant manager is a liar and not qualified to manage even a hot dog stand. My vacation was ruined because we prepaid for our accomodations on expedia and was stuck in this dump. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at The Artisan. It's a horror.
“DON'T STAY HERE.”
Don't waste your time and especially your money on this place. Your first impression will be positve, the lobby is very clean, the staff is very pleasant and helpful, the atmoshere is calm and quiet. Until night, when the "lounge" becomes a club, playing loud thumping music the entire night long. There is no security checking people (drunks) who are taking the elevator up to the floors. We were awakened at 2:30 am by drunk people running up and down our hallway . (which are tiled floors instead of carpet.) I called security but I never heard them arrive, just the drunks grabbing door handles. The music continued til we left @ 7am. We had minor issues that we tolerated, but everything together it was too much. Tv didn't work, phones didn't work properly, used towels left in bathroom, drunks in the middle of the night. I asked to be moved to a quiet part of the hotel and was told that I would still hear the music. We switched hotels. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!
