“Great place to just rest & relax.”
Away from main traffic, good restaurants in the casino & I won a little cash. They allow pets for a nominal fee.
“Comfortable and Decent Stay”
We had a great experience at Aliante and will be returning shortly for another stay at this comfortable hotel.
“Far from strip Casino”
A really nice place, beautifully decorated. The buffet was really good. The food court is average and I'm not a fan of the chain rsstaurant that is there. The room was nicely appointed with some touches you don't find everywhere. Teleconferencing from the toilet??? The only chair was extremely uncomfortable because the cushion was shot. The major complaint would be that the bathtub/shower--as deep and nice as it looked---was completely impossible for me to get in to. The side was much higher than the average tub and it had a not overly wide entry. I couldn't manage to use it and had to wash my hair in the sink. I do not understand why double rooms rarely have accessible showers. A relative staying at the same time said his room--a single king--had a large, walk-in shower. I would have loved to have had that option. If you are on that side of Vegas and don't mind being a long distance from the Strip or the airport, then you will probably have a good stay.
“Disappointed”
My husband and I were in Vegas for 4 days for a medical procedure so we were glad to find a place far from the strip. But the first thing I noticed was the TV mounted crookedly on the wall and that the TP holder in the bathroom was crooked as well. The next morning my husband was stuck in the shower and struggled for 5 minutes or so just to force open the door that had come off of its track. I sorely missed having no coffee pot in the room and I got a stiff neck from the pillows. The art work on the walls was plain and ugly. The staff was not service-oriented. The only thing I really liked was the saltwater pool although it was only open from 9-5. I wasn't allowed to take the pool towel I had wrapped around me for warmth to my room even though the day before I had asked specifically if we would be allowed to take the towels to our room and had been told that yes, I was "absolutely" allowed to do that.
“Great Hotel-especially the pool area”
Beatiful Hotel Great rooms Wonderful Pool Understaffed front desk
“Nice Place but some reservations”
We got a great promotional price and the facility is very, very nice. I'm not a gambler so I can't rate that part of their business other than being typically smoke, but the rest of the facility and the food offered is first rate. They didn't cut corners. Some cautions and clarifications: 1) I understood this hotel was off the strip (not downtown) but I didn't understand it is not served by a freeway or highway. The miles out aren't bad but the time on surface streets with lots of traffic lights is frustrating. 2) Don't miss (as I did) the $14.99 resort fee. I was unpleasantly surprised but it is in the Expedia listing. 3) If breakfast is included in your package it is for the buffet only, not the other restaurants in the facility. They buffet does not open until 8 AM late for some of us but probably just right for late night gamblers. A classy place at a great price as long as you accept the issues above.
“Great hotel - close to Las Vegas Speedway”
Very nice, upscale hotel and casino. It is clean, stylish, and very well run. The rooms were just beautiful. Room service was excellent. They have a great buffet and several nice restaurants. The casino was nice and didn't smell like smoke! I would highly recommend it for those who want to visit Vegas, have the casino experience, but don't want to be downtown or on the strip. It is very convenient to the speedway for race weekends!
“Jay”
Great Hotel. Clean. Great Service. Good Price. Rooms were modern in style and very nice. Free Internet in the rooms. Although I did not visit the pool it was beautiful looking. I did use the fitness center which looked brand new. Plenty of equipment and free weights. Treadmills with T.V.s. Its a good drive to the "Strip" (20min). Great views of the strip from my room though. So if you are looking to stay away from the Glitz but stll have the Vegas spas, casinos, etc. this is a good pick.
“We will definitely be returning!”
Loved everything about the hotel! Clean, friendly, and fun all around.
“Perfect for family reunions”
The hotel was clean, great pool and many good restaurants. It also has a theater and sports bar. The casino has tons of penny machines for the frugal bettor. There are stores nearby. It would have been perfect if it had a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room!
