“Long wait...”
Check in was long and drawn out because there was miscommunication and they didn't receive my online reservation, so I had to wait over 30 minutes just to check in. Other than that my stay was ok.
“security concern at redroof”
Breakfast should have been provided. Afraid someone might come into the room uninvited.
“Ewww.”
Our room was not cleaned from the previous user! Telltale signs like dirty socks under the bed, an unflushed toilet... really turned me off. I've been itchy for days... won't ever stay there again.
“feel misled”
: Overall it was okay, but it still ended up being higher than expected for one night. I think there are more economical choices close by this location. Regarding the title of this review...they state that it has WiFi, which I guess it does, but unlike most hotels, it's only the access that is complimentary, you have to pay to actually use the WiFi. It also bugs me that when you check in and they know that there are 4 people staying in the room and there are only 2 towels.
“Need better beds!!!!”
The room was very nice and clean, but the beds were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE....mattress was very thin you could feel the springs, for such a nice hotel they should spend more money on a better bed.
“"It was decent for the money we paid"”
Overall the hotel was decent for the amount we paid. The room did have a funny smell at first and when we run the ac it smelled better. I would definetly used this hotel if I was short on funds and that's not a BAD THANG!
“not with kids”
We needed a quick/cheap place to spend one night before flying out of Chicago. I could not recommend this hotel for people with kids. One, we had to ask for toilet paper in the bathroom and (two) then go down to the desk to get it. Three, the carpet looked filthy although it was not in need of vacuuming but rather shampooing. Four, I stood waiting 10 minutes at the desk when I arrived as the door was locked and the staff was out. Five, it was very loud outside all night...car alarms and sirens and people talking which is not necessarily a fault of the hotel but effected my sleep. If you are an adult by yourself and just need a bed its cheap but not a place to feel clean with kids or get a GOOD nights rest.
“Not impressed”
Towels were sparce, scratchy and difficult to get more than one large towel for 3 adults registered to room. Also there were problems with the keys. We had to have the magnetic strip re-tooled every time we wanted to get into the room (for a three day stay that's a lot of re-tooling)The night clerk blamed it on my cell phone but when we checked out the manager said they were having a problem and the tech was coming to fix it. The mattresses were well worn and we did a lot of rolling to the middle of the bed.
“Not Impressed at All”
Not a satisfactory stay. I will not stay there again and encourage others to avoid it as well.
“Do not recommend”
Run down place, mouldy smell. Avoid if possible.
