Overall resort has a terrible stench, problem with their sewage treatment. The room is very run down and the hot shower in our room is not working. The mini fridge is missing in our room. After our complaint to the reception they only replace the fridge on the 2nd night. The only good thing about this resort is the location, nearby eatery places. The hotel name has changed to Airis Sanctuary Resort since July but no one informed us.

First of all, this property has changed management and been renamed 'Airis Sanctuary' since Jun 2019. It would be good if you could update your website as we had trouble trying to locate it on Waze. The property is very poorly maintained and the sewage smell that comes out from the drain is terrible. It even permeates the lobby at times. Overall the property is in poor condition and understaffed. Our room was not cleaned on the second day of stay. The room had only two lights (bulbs) and one was fused when we checked in. We reported it but nobody fixed it. The next day we reported it again and until we checked out it was not fixed.

Ok value, not luxurious
Was alright for the price. Not luxurious but not too far from the beach and a lot cheaper than most beachfront places. River in the middle of the chalets was a bit of a brown swamp. Chose not to eat, drink or swim here but it was chose enough to good bars and restaurants (Sugar and One Love in particular) not to matter

don't book there not worth the money
staff seemed friendly but asking them to fix your tv . I had to do it my self.. the lady boys at front desk was to busy playing on the phones and when it came to night time asking them for some thing. they was to busy I'm the other hotel rooms partying . and getting ready to go out.. the breakfast was so late kitchen filthy. and the swimming pool was green that u could not see your hand in it.. I would never stay there again.. room was acceptable

Not really family friendly hotel
This hotel building design is very nice but not the interior of the room. The most concerned of me is the sound proofing. We can hear whoever talk or tv sounds of the next room guest. This is not only inside the room but we can hear from outside of others room too. And the breakfast choice is few so everyday we only eat bread and egg.

A Bit Sad
A bit dated and neglected in need of attention mould in shower...Pool area never cleaned in 5 days and pool quite dirty....Breakfast Very Hit & Miss one day we were given McDonald's?...Staff were busy doing nothing most of the day....and left clean laundry abandoned on the path for nearly 24 hrs...Shame as it has a nice position and surroundings..

Do not expect much
Hotel is in a good location is about the best I can say about this hotel. Rooms are poorly maintained and cleaned and not serviced daily unless you complain. Breakfast is limited for westerners, toast, cereal and baby hotdog sausages unless you like rice and noodles. Pool was clean for the day of arrival but did not seen the pool cleaned while there as had many insects and leaves floating (even a dead frog) in it.

Room reasonably clean. We stayed for 2 nights. On first day, found that basin of bathroom was not draining, informed receptionist and requested for repair. Upon returned to room in evening, someone appeared to have attended to faulty drainage of basin but still Not draining! Request to look into this problem the next day, till we checked out on 3rd day, problem Not Resolved!

Hits and misses
The hotel could have been the cosy, laidback resort it set out to be if not for the general upkeep which was appalling. Our rooms were clean, but the aircon was wonky, every unit's door creaked terribly (we were woken every morning by our early-rising neighbours), the basin almost disconnected from the wall when I leaned on it (!!), and the towels were stained yellow. At least the wifi and tv reception was great. The main reason I chose this hotel was the pool, which looked lovely in the online photos. But in reality, it was filled with all manner of fallen foliage and dead insects, and a male staff who was sweeping around the pool simply shrugged and said he had no idea when or IF the pool would be ready. Don't EVER opt for the breakfast. The selection was paltry and tasted terrible (how do you screw up fried eggs?), and the cook spent more time staring into space and watching tv, which explained why the food and coffee were constantly running short. The hotel is too far from any decent eateries and the main Cenang area, which was fine with me since I wanted somewhere quiet. The nearest beach is Tengah Beach about ten minutes' walk away, much quieter and less commercialised than Cenang Beach. The hotel's only saving grace is its reception staff who were helpful and friendly and generous with info.

The room is still acceptable with a nice view but the toilet is extremely dirty. It can actually be cleaned but they leave all the black stains there, probably because they are lazy to clean it. The basin is clogged and a lot of ants in the bathroom.

Average for a low cost 'resort'
For a new hotel the bathroom condition was very disappointing, water was leaking into the bedroom through the wall and sink was falling of the wall. Fridge worked in only one room but air con worked very well in both. Pool is amazing and they are building a great sunken pool bar which will make the pool area a great spot to hang out. The rooms surround a lovely pond with water feature which is relaxing to listen to. Breakfast comes from another hotel in the morning, delivered by car, so is quite late - around 8am start and there is around 4 different dishes to choose from as well as toast and cereal. Staff were nice and did their best to help out with everything. Hotel is walking distance from main shopping/eating street but there is restaurants and minimarts even closer also.

Everything is good except breakfast.
Clean, nice environment. Good service. But bad service for breakfast. 1st day the breakfast server at 0830, 2nd day 0900am, 3rd day 0930am. Everyday I waste almost 1 and half hour waiting for the breakfast. Also there are less variety of breakfast. The food is not enough as well.

Nice little houses with balcony where u can enjoy a drink in front of the pond. Nice swimming pool. Helpful and polite staff. Not located in the city center, a little bit far from Cenang beach, but u can get silence there.

Worth every penny
Not exactly in Cenang beach and little hard to find as the sign was broken but loved the location. Rooms were clean and well maintained, but 2 plugs weren't working. Hotel staff were very friendly. Value for money. Pool was under construction but it looks great!

The hotel is quite new. So the amenities in the hotel is still in good condition. The room is clean. The location is near beach area but you may need transport to go to Pantai Chenang. About 10 to 15 min from there. There is some renovation during my stay but no complaint about that. However no internet connection around that area, even my 4G broadband cant be used there. It is a bit anoyying to hear the tv sound from the next room.

Simple, clean and close
This is a great place to stay if you are not looking to spend hours at your hotel or in your hotel room. It is very new and clean and provides all the basics at a very good price. It is very close to town and as a student travelling, it was affordable and prefect for my stay. I am not interested in resorts as I prefer to get out and about during the day and therefore the Airis catered to my simple needs. Just be aware they do not have facilities for eating, they are in the process of building a kitchen area.

Terrible plastic hotel, on garbage filled pond.
Worst place. Filthy, linens not laundered from previous guest, hair filled bed, and dirty bathroom which I had to clean myself before I could use. Hotel is actually plastic and shakes when neighbours close door. You can hear the people next door pee. I love camping, but not in a plastic box. This is not the nature sanctuary it is advertised to be. Pond is breeding ground for Mosquitos and the rooms are filled with them. Air con didn't work, it leaked water down the walls. If you want dengue fever, stay there.

Pretty setting, but otherwise misleading...
The hotel setting around the man-made pond and fountain, is very pretty; in fact even prettier than the online photos. However, the hotel is not in Pantai Cenang, as stated in the listing address. It is in Pantai Tengah, which is the next town south. The map online is also wrong, which made it difficult to locate. There were restaurants, shops and spas within walking distance, but this smaller beach town does not have the variety or the buzz of the larger Pantai Cenang. We prepaid through the website, but the staff tried to charge us upon arrival. Fortunately, we had our confirmation to prove to them that it was already paid for. The hotel is brand new, in fact, so new that they are still building parts of it. There were piles of construction material on the property and the work continued throughout the day, although thankfully, not early in the morning. The WiFi did not work in the rooms, only on the patio outside the lobby. The rooms were clean and new, but the walls between units are so thin that you could hear every movement and every spoken word from your neighbors. The bathrooms smelled of sewer gas sporadically and especially when the bath fan was turned on. It was nice to have a door on the shower, unlike most mid-range Asian hotels, where everything in the room gets wet during a shower. Otherwise, this hotel was disappointing and not worth the price.

Attention a cet hôtel! Nous avons subi un vol dans notre chambre bien que notre argent était dans un coffre! Bien que nous ayons porte plainte aucune poursuite aupres du personnel ni dédommagement ! Nous ne reviendrons plus jamais en Malaisie trop mauvaise expérience !!!!!!

저렴하고 괜찮은 리조트지만 .. 조식 및 시설은 크게 기대하지 않는 게 좋아요,
조식은 시리얼 제외하고 정말 먹을 거 없으니 라면가져가셨으면 그걸 드시는 걸 추천드려요. 저렴한 가격에 독채를 쓸 수 있다는 점이 가장 큰 장점이라고 생각하고 리조트 내에 바 가 있어서 뭐 드시기에는 나쁘지 않아요. 바로 옆에 큰 바도 있었고.. 음 차도를 따라 걷긴하지만 10분 정도 걸으면 마트가 있구요 과일같은거 팔더라구용 흠.. 체낭 번화가와는 매우 멉니다. 걸어가시는건 ..아닌것 같아요.= 문짝이나 이런저런게 고장나고 와이파이가 계속 튕겼는데 와이파이는 저만 그런것 같고... 카드키로 문 안열리는건 말씀드리니까 친절하게 열쇠로 주셨어요. 직원분들 정말 친절하세요. 그점은 매우 만족스러워요. 음.. 조식제외하면 정말 괜찮다고 생각합니다.

Leuke kamers, schoonmaak kon beter. Toilet was niet schoon en we kregen niet elke dag schone handdoeken, ze vouwden de vieze op en legde die gewoon weer op je bed. Ook de thee zakjes, water flesjes werden niet aangevuld. Gebruikte bekers werden niet vervangen. Ontbijt was erg slecht geregeld, er werd slecht bijgevuld, met als gevolg dat een uur voor t sluiten van t ontbijt al bijna alles op was. Kopjes, bestek werd ook niet op tijd aangevuld. Tafels bleven lang on afgeruimd staan. 1x was het personeel veel te laat, waardoor er heel haastig t een en ander neer werd gekwakt. En kon je 30 min na de officiële begin tijd van t ontbijt beginnen aan de kliekjes van de dag ervoor.

아직 완전히 완공을 하고 개장한게 아닌 듯 했어요, 수영장을 아직도 짓고있었고 전체적으로 조금 어수선한 분위기가 있었네요. 그래서 가격이 저렴한것도 같지만.. 가격대비 시설은 괜찮았어요. 근데 조식은 넘 허접했다는. 가장 안좋았던건 개미!! 방에 무는 개미가 넘 많아서 물릴까봐 진짜 무서웠어요. 제가 아토피가 심해서 간지럼 공포증이 있는지라ㅜ_ㅜ 할 수 없이 에어컨 빵빵틀고 이불을 꽁꽁 덮고 자는 방법을 택했다는... 모기약까지 준비해갔었는데 개미때문에 고생할줄이야. 객실관리가 엉망이라서 그렇다기보다는 주위 환경과 컨테이너를 개조한 룸 형태상 개미 박멸이 쉽진 않겠다는 생각이 들어요. 뭐 그래도 위치도 괜찮고 전반적으로 나쁘지 않았어요~

Bunkalovit olivat luullakseni valmistaloja, yksinkertaisia, mutta siistejä (kaksi huonetta per talo) sänky oli hyvä, huoneessa jääkaappi ja safe, myytävänä pähkinöitä, limsoja ja nuudelisoppia, ilmainen vesi ja kahvi. Verannalla ihana istua ja katsella lammen joutsenia ja suihkulähteitä. Henkilökunta: erittäin ystävällisiä nuoria ihmisiä. resparakennuksen yhteyteen rakennettu ravintola avautuu vasta maaliskuussa - silloin mahdollista saada myös aamupalaa. Ainoa puute: bunkalövin toisen huoneen äänet huonossa tapauksessa häiritsevät yöunta. alueella myös muutama perhetalo jolloin ongelma poistuu.

Inte så trevligt hotell!
Rummen var väldigt små, smutsiga och slitna. Det var så lyhört att det kändes som grannen var i samma säng. Wifit fungerade inte alls och inte AC:n heller. Området var en 20min promenad från centrum och fanns bara några inte så roliga restauranger i närheten. Hotellet håller nu på att renoveras så det kan säkert bli bättre men just nu rekommenderar vi det inte.

Cet établissement récent propose des bungalows de 2 chambres mitoyenne, confortable et bien équipé. En face de la rue menant a l'hôtel on y trouve scooter ou voiture en location. Il est au calme (même si on entend parfois les voisins) L'accueil est bon et le personnel aidant !
