“Nice place to stay”
Even though it was under renovation, and the hallways were warm, the rooms had a nice digital air conditioner. The room was clean, had a refrigerator, and coffee maker. The cleaning staff very helpful in providing anything we needed. The location was great as we wanted to see a Lancaster baseball game and also wanted to visit Dutch Wonderland. The check-in staff was also very accommodating and helpful. The pool was heated and clean with plenty of towels available. One item not mentioned was paid parking. Overall, we would stay there again!
“A GREAT PLACE TO STAY”
GOOD LOCATION, FINDING WHERE TO PARK IS A BIT DIFFICULT BUT OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING IS VERY EASY TO FIND.
“What a way to experience Lancaster!”
I recently stayed at this hotel while on a business trip. I had one of the rennovated rooms and it was so nice and very comfortable. I was able to conduct business using the FREE wireless internet. I also had dinner at the restaraunt on site. Not only was that a convenience for me but the food was great too. I will definately stay here again!!!!
“Great Location for the Price”
My family and I traveled to Lancaster for a mini-vacation for shopping and a visit to Dutch Wonderland. Although the hotel was a few short miles away, the location was great. I would rsther be away from the busy traffic and noise in the Lancaster area. The hotel was very comfortable and in a great quiet location. The only negative was parking. The hotel does not have free parking. Also, the indoor pool was great!
“Nice place for the short time I was there”
Due to a million and one delays on the travel there I spent a very short amount of time in the hotel. I was there on a business trip on a Thursday night and found the hotel to be very nice and comfortable.
“Would stay again!”
After reading several reviews from great to awful, I concluded the hotel was somewhere in between, and I was right and also pleasantly surprised. Some areas of the hotel are still being renovated but the majority was finished and excellent. I spoke with 3 different people at the front desk, all were helpful. Had trouble finding vending machines but once again, staff were helpful. We had to change our room from a queen size bed to 2 double beds and it wasn't a problem. Parking on site was safe and easy. The newly renovated room was clean and furnishings very nice. The price was very reasonable; I'd recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again.
“Just a suggestion”
I did enjoy my stay at Hotel Brunswick. My infant son and I were well accomodated. Having to make fomula and cereal for my baby, sometimes would leave the floor a little messy, yet every time we came back from an outing we'd find the floors cleaned and vacuumed. I appreciated that very much! I noticed that the hotel will be going thru renovations soon, I only suggest that they brighten up the interior of the hotel. It was too dark and maybe a little gloomy in the hallways in my opinion.
“Decent”
the room was clean the only problem that i had was that our tv was not working properly and there really weren't a lot of channels.
“Much improved- but there is still work to be done”
The Hotel Brunswick has seen better days. The exterior has a communist bloc feel to it that is not in keeping with the historical feel of the city of Lancaster. The hotel is undergoing an extensive renovation, however, so we thought we'd give it a chance. We booked an unrenovated room on Expedia for a very good price, but received a renovated room at check in. What a nice surprise! The bathroom had granite counter tops and there was new carpet and decor. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was new and nicely chosen. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and was disappointed. This time I was much happier. The otel still has a way to go- for example, the elevators are in poor condition and my sister and I actually got stuck in one on the morning of our departure. We told the front desk, and they said they had been having difficulty with the elevators the day before and called the repair guy in right away. They had better complete the renovation since there is a new hotel going in downtown-- but I think they are on their way.
“Hotel Brunswick”
The nicest people and so nice to my husband, myself and our dog. They didn't treat us like we were an inconvenice infact, it was like we were a valued customer.
