“Tired rundown, spacious room, good value though”
A little tired and rundown, but spacious room, and good value for money.
“Clean and efficient”
The Junior Suite was a bit of a treat and I think good value for money. The staff are helpful, efficient and clearly well trained. It's not a brand new hotel, but cleanliness was scrupulous throughout and everything worked, no malfunctioning lights, TVs or remote controls, just a kind of endearing worn quality to curtains, and desk veneers with some old fashioned furniture. I don't normally go to chain hotels and the frayed around the edges feel was endearing more than anything else.

We have just returned from spending two nights at this hotel. Firstly, I have to say that we got what we felt like was a good deal, so we don't feel too unhappy about our experience. The staff were superb thorughout our stay, very friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was a really decent size, with a seperate area for dressing and getting ready. The bed was the most comfortable bed that we have ever slept in, when away from home. Having said all that, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. As a rule we are not over fussy and can overlook minor issues, but the bathroom was very dusty and the bins in the bathroom and changing area hadn't been emptied from previous occupants and the bathroom didn't appear to have been cleaned at all.... All that said it was still ok. However, the most disappointing part of our break was that we had booked here specificly for the pool and sauna, for some much need relaxation and rest, but were unable to use the facilities because we felt that it was really dirty and unhygienic and tired looking and we could not bring ourselves to get in the pool or use the changing facilities and like I said i dont consider myself to be too fussy, so it must have been poor for us not use it at all, which is a shame. The staff are THE major asset in this hotel, which made what could have been an awful stay to a pleasant stay.
“Place with Potential”
Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Room and parts of the Hotel were tired and in need of a revamp.Breakfast was acceptable.Overall the place appeared to have potential if proper investment was made.
