It was a lovely place to stay with a dog for a couple of days visiting family. Very clean, very comfortable and helpful that we could eat there.

Early check -in charge is ridiculous, room is ready, why should you pay, if room isnt ready and I requested for it especially, then fine, not when room is ready

Very clean comfortable. Beds comfy and bed linen and towels excellent. All staff top notch, pleasant and helpful. My chicken meal wasn't up to standard. Very dry and the chips seemed to be microwaved so rather disappointing. I was too tired to complain. My husbands meal was very nice. I felt the proberty was dated abd required uplift with fresh paint. Otherwise, we had a comfortable ivernight stay.

Good accommodation, terrible food
Very good service, c;ean and comfortable room but the food left a lot to be desired. I had the driest roast chicken I've ever experienced. I only ate it as I'd driven down from the Highlands and was very hungry. The full English breakfast the following morning wasn't much better.

Stayed overnight on our way from Christmas holiday visiting family. Great customer service. My husband enjoyed his food but unfortunately I ordered roast chicken which came out dry. It must have been sitting under the heat for a long time. The only other thing is shower cleaning needs to be more thorough especially on the grout and corners which were showing mould. Everything else was good

When i arrived at the reception we met a guy there he never greeted us no make eye contact he checked us in no room for question he left us hanging a visitor help us we room direction..i didn't get my room cleaned or checked but overall the stay was amazing ,spacious room, heating system tv with multiple channel,quiet loved it.the breakfast was amazing buffet with lots to choose for my partner beeing a vegan had something for him ..

We brought our dog as were heading south for christmas, 12 Midnight people shouting in corrioridor, slaming doors no consideration for other people setting our dog off barking. Waste of time staying got no sleep then at 8am powercut couldnt see a thing until 9am . You might be dog friendly but uou also want too check on ypur guests Staff were lovely

Terrific value for money - clean rooms, good feed (ask for Tom in the restaurant - he's very helpful) and cheery, efficient staff at reception. Angela is a star and especially deserves a mention. Highly recommended.

Fantastically amazing in every way!!!!!
This is our second stay and most preferred in the area. Not only is the hotel a great location, affordable, clean, free parking, comfortable and friendly. They are super honest. I had a call from the hotel not long after checking out, stating I’d left my designer handbag in the room. I was too far to collect and helped me, we’re accommodating and just super helpful with returning it. This hotel Ticks every box for me and will always be my first choice and first recommendation.

Access to property poor. Access from M6 closed due to roadworks. Had to access property from a dark side road through a barrier which took a long time to be opened. Not what's required late at night when youre tired and simply want to sleep. In morning, werent able to leave property by same exit and had to travel miles out of way north on M6 as roadworks had finished.
