“Relaxing Four Seasons”
We had an excellent anniversary vow renewal weekend and loved our stay at the Four Seasons. Very relaxed and comfortable place and location. We ordered room service for breakfast - delicious.
“Spectacular property and golf course”
The Lodge at Lanai is beautiful and their golf course is the best I've ever played and I've played Pebble Beach. The Four Seasons also has another property on Lanai which is far more expensive. It's on the water so it has water views but I liked the Lodge better because the mountain views and walking paths are beautiful as well. Also, the Lodge is more intimate and less touristy. Finally, you can use all the facilities at the other Four Seasons at Menele BAy so why would you pay more? We also played the golf course at Manele Bay and while beautiful, we preferred the course at the lodge.
“simply awesome!”
This place will make you feel the weight of the world disappear! Everything is stellar and first class. If you feel stress here, then there's something wrong with you. We are already planning on coming back. I will give a bit of advice in getting there. Most of you will be getting there by boat I presume, so for those of you who get quesy I highly recommend taking some dramamine prior to the UPS and downs of the expedition to the island of lanai. Other than that, VIO CON DIOS!
“Quaint Island Getaway”
This not a place for those that want alot of action and a fast pace. Things here are on island time and that is what we loved. Golf for those that want to do that is available. But mainly this is a place to just go and unwind and relax. If you are expecting more then you need to go somewhere else. Beautiful hikes and the views in any direction are wonderful. Everything here is expensive but that is to be expected. The people of Lanai are gracious and the staff at the hotels were very nice everywhere we went. There is nothing I would change about our experience even if I could. This is definitely an island I would return to time and again.
“Cool Seeing”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. The setting was beautiful and a nice change after a week on the beach and many days in the sun. We went horseback riding and played croquet. We loved the smell of the fire in the huge fireplace each evening. The service was wonderful, however the price of food at the hotel was really expensive. Because the city is so small, you're choices are either the really expensive hotels or tiny diner style restaurants in town that close pretty early. Definitely, worth the experience, but 2 nights was just right. Loved the people working at the stables.
“Hawaii's Best Hotel”
Ko'ele Lodge is the most stupendous weekend getaway. It's surrounding gardens are a delight to relax in, the ambient temperature is most ideal, and afternoon tea in the lobby beckoned us everyday. Service is ever so gracious ans transportation is never a problem. The Four Seasons shuttle bus takes us where ever we need to be. Lanai city is quiet and quaint. The residents are polite and delightful. We are already planning our next trip!
“Total relaxation”
My husband I recently visited Lana'i and stayed at the Lodge. We had full use of both Four Seasons properties and spent most of our time at Manele Bay by the beach and pool. It's important to know that the weather is much different at the Lodge (seems to always be in a cloud) and generally was cooler than at Manele Bay. We did love the Lodge and would stay there again. If you decide to travel to Lana'i, there isn't much to do in town (only a few restaurants and shops open various hours) so plan on spending most of your time at the resorts. We also learned that there is a ferry between Maui and Lana'i as another option to flying onto the island. We heard the ferry is a great way to go whale watching! Last tip- be sure to eat lunch at the clubhouse of the Challenge at Manele Bay golf course. It has great food and amazing views.
“luxury on Lanai”
Our first experience on the island of Lanai, Hawaii. The Lodge is so fantastic I wouldn't know where to start. Beautiful grounds, beautiful hotel set as a plantation house in the pines 2,000 ft. up from the beach, wonderful staff, so accomodating. You have priviledges at the beach hotel, but while beautiful, it was really like any Hawaiian resort. The Lodge was outstanding, nothing like it. We'll be going back next year.
“Perfect for relaxing”
This is the most beautiful and amazing hotel and was perfect for a much needed relaxing getaway. The staff were friendly, the rooms are exceptionally comfortable and clean and the grounds are beautiful. I can't recommend it enough.
“You got to go”
It is such a beautiful place. If you stay either logde or Manele, you can use both hotel's amenity.
