Convenience of a restaurant/Cafe on premises. Game cleaning facility needs an overhaul. No running water and very small area to work if there were more than one person cleaning fish or cleaning Game.

I had a nice stay. The building in general seemed a bit dilapidated. Kind of smelly. Room was nice, though. Clean beds, decent shower. Good bar and diner.

Small Town Charming Hotel
Went to the Turkey BBQ in Aneta (40 minutes away), checking in was weird. Had.to check in at the bar in the back. But it was also about 10pm when we arrived. Nothing bad, just a new experience for us. We were entertained by it. The bar tender was extremely friendly, and one of the customers I think offered to help us. Small town charm! The room was clean, the beds were soft and comfortable. I was very surprised honestly. This place has changed since i was a kid! I would definitely stay here again if needed! Our dog Rio was welcomed.

Worst Hotel Ever!
The carpets are filthy. Looks like they’ve never met a shampoo. The people next door were up all night laughing, talking really loud and possibly having WWE fights. Crashing and booming. In and out of the room all night letting the door slam each time. The room phone was ringing at 8:30 am for no apparent reason. I cannot imagine how this place got such a high rating. The front desk attendant was pleasant

Very pleasant place to spend the night, with restaurant and bar right there. I’d say it’s a bit dated, beds definitely need an upgrade but all in all with the friendly environment and as hot meal being served till around 9 pm I’d for sure stay again

I do apoligize for the smoke smell and even though we restrict smoking in the hotel there are some that do not abide by the laws, we do try our best to reconize which rooms the smell is coming from and take appropriate actions. The entance ways do get clutter at times and dirty and I appreciate you bringing that to our attention so we can keep a better eye on that in the future. Thank you for your stay and hopefully we will see you in the future.

The hotel is old but clean. The only complaints I would ave is ask for a north side room so you don’t hear all the traffic on the highway right next to the hotel. And they should redo there air conditioning so the exhaust from the vehicles outside doesn’t come in the room

This hotel is a bit older but it is very comfortable. The staff was super helpful, even helping my wife and children to find a little snack after the kitchen had closed!

Try the “works” burger
The bar and grill staff were great. Very friendly and seemed happy to have us as customers. I highly recommend the “works” burger. The hotel room was a little dated but the friendliness of the staff made up for it. We will be back.

Its an older building but the room is clean and check in was fast! I enjoyed the darts in the game room and the staff was super friendly. Avoid the slot machine! Thank me later. Would of gave an extra star but my roommate said he heard people partying all night in the parking lot. I slept through it.

yea the slots can not be freindly sometimes, we do try to limit the outside noise late at night but sometimes people are hard to get to go home after the bar closes we will continue to monitor it and appreciate you letting us know

The front desk guy, Paul, was really nice and easy to talk with. This place is conveniently located right off the highway. Its decent for the price. The music from the bar area is loud but once you're in your room, you won't be able to hear it. The rooms were decent but the AC did give off a weird smell. I would stay here again if needed.

we have since tried to rectify problem with exhaust system but with the number of burgers we cook it does not always keep up with the demand.

This property is in need of TLC. The air conditioning works but is stuck on high. The rooms are clean but very dated

we do require guests to sign a waiver saying no smoking in rooms, obviously that is not always followed and the smell can linger for days, we do clean all linen in those rooms and clean carpets to remove smell and add freshner but it still lingers with smoke sometimes, we do apoligize and the next time you stay if you find one unsatisfactory we would be happy to accomadate you with one that is satisfactory. Thanks for the feedback it is always appreciated and helpful to us to find better solutions to issues that arrive.

Better than expected! The building is a little old and has kind of a dorm feel but the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The attached cafe is great for breakfasts.

I realize that you get what you pay for, but for $70 a night, I still feel like I overpaid a little. The staff is all awesome. The room was clean. It's just really run-down. The cinder block walls kind of made it feel like an old asylum, and the hallway to the rooms reminded my roommate of The Shining. The ice machine was disgusting. I feel bad, because the front desk guy and the two ladies working the restaurant and bar were truly great people. They were friendly, accommodating, and great to chat with. They deserve better conditions to work in. The beds were good. The bathroom was clean. The location is great (right down the frontage road from a gas station and a Dollar General - all you need). A nice remodel would do wonders for this place.
