“Great value”
Our room was spacious and comfortable. A good sized table served well as a workspace. The wifi was reasonably responsive and reliable. A good value.

“Reasonable hotel for reasonable rates”
Having never been to Lakewood/Tacoma before I simply picked the hotel with the best rates, and it was a pleasant surprise. The room was very spacious, and very clean. The neighborhood that this hotel in has pretty much no charm, but it is only about a 30 second drive from the freeway. If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay for a night I would absolutely recommend this hotel. The mattress and pillows weren't super comfy, but adequate.
“Definately going back on my next trip”
This hotel was close to everything me and my soldier needed- Fort Lewis, shopping, movie theatre, and casinos. Since I stay in hotels often, I'm picky. I was able to check in early to a very clean, big room. There was a huge TV and sofa so we were able to relax without having to lay in bed. The overall condition of the hotel was great- I was nervous about the unknown place, but that quickly changed once I arrived.

i would stay there again the staff were very friendly they try to help u in any way they can the rooms were clean and warm and the breakfast really saved me a lot of monies i really liked staying there we even met some new friends there.
“Very impressed”
We were personally shown the room where was. Everyone at the desk knew what room we were in, and were very accommodating. The heater was controllable (not like other motels we're stayed in), and we had very little highway noise. For the price, it was one of our good finds.
“Great Location”
The hotel staff is very friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable and the free breakfast was great. Fresh waffles, muffins, juice and of course coffee.
“Very good value for the money”
I needed a place to stay for the night. I was not looking for anything fancy... just the basic amenities and clean rooms. This place fits the bill perfectly and the prices (booked on Expedia.com) are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place just to spend the night.
“Western Inn Tacoma”
Hotel was easily accessible from major transportation routes, and for purpose of trip. Beds could use better pillows or more pillows. Lamps or reading lights by the bed or reachable from the bed without having to get out of bed were lacking. Staff did not replace soaps etc. Hotel staff did not monitor handicap parking. My wife has to use a wheel chair and the wheel chair ramp was frequently blocked my other patrons with out a handicap placard or registration on their vehicle.
