“Overall good choice”

Most hotels have their good points and bad points. Good -- very helpful front desk clerk (immediately provided travel crib on request and carried it to the room; had to wait / request multiple times for crib at other hotels during our trip); nice room set up and amenities; good coffee in the lobby (available all day) and good breakfast items in the morning; there are a few conveniences nearby (fast food restaurants and grocery store). Not so good -- in a room for two people, there were only two of each towel type (washcloth, hand towel, and bath towel); pillows were not very comfortable (I don't think I've ever found hotel pillows I like!).

“First Visit to the area”

The Hotel services were excellent value and the staff were really pleasant and go out of their way to make feel welcome. The negatives are the location, i.e. hard to find for a stranger, set off and out of sight from the road.

“Wish the pool was open”

The pool was closed and I was told it would reopen and it did not. I stayed 5 nights. At the very least it would have been nice to be able to access the hot tub, but they had it all locked up. The workout room was great. Bountiful and fresh breakfast. Loved having coffee and tea available in the lobby all day. I stayed in two different rooms and both of them had very noisy heating/cooling systems. Great beds and pillows.
