“Convenient, Competent, Comfortable”
Our first stay in a Hyatt Place. This one next to the Lakeland Center, an entertainment venue. A Hyatt Place looks like it goes up against the Hilton Garden Inn. More money than we are used to paying but you get advantages. We came from Legoland exhausted and we were able to buy decent food at the the hotel for a mark-up that was reasonable for the convenience -- and the food tasted pretty good. Continental breakfast was definitely a cut-above our usual fare with egg & meat sandwiches as well as high quality fruit, yogurt, milk, cereals, etc. The room we got was a business suite with all features useful and useable. The staff were both the front desk and the cooks and they were a cheerful and earnestly helpful group.
“can't wait to go back”
We were so impressed with how wonderful this hotel is, that we are going to stay there again on our next trip.
“Extremely impressed and satisfied.”
I was very satisfied with all the services provided.
“Good comfortable place to stay”
Great hotel, great staff, they really try to be helpful. Nice location.
“Hyatt Lakeland”
The location was next to the convention center which would have been great if I had business there (but I didn't). On a Sunday night my stay was (overly) quiet, but it was a beautiful room and I would stay there again since the price for the room was great.
“the staff at the hyatt were beyond friendly.”
the hyatt in lakeland,fl was the most stress free, friendly and inviting place i have stayed in a long time. the staff when i checked in were so friendly. the room was clean and i loved the sitting area and swivel tv. everything was so nice. i only wished i could have stayed longer.
“detroit tiger spring training trip 2010”
hotel close to ball park and lots of good places to eat & drink in downtown lakeland. will book for next year
“Great hotel for Lakeland Center events”
We attended an event at the Lakeland Center and were delighted at the convenience. We only had to walk across the parking lot! Nice hotel, room was nicely decorated and extremely clean. The bed was a little on the hard side, but maybe I'm just brittle. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly.
“Wonderful hotel!”
I travel a lot for business and this has to be by far the most comfortable I've felt in a hotel. The rooms are spacious and well laid out, the flat screen tv in the room is an added bonus! I usually have problems accessing hotels' high speed internet - not here! The hotel staff is accommodating and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.
“Would stay again for the right price!”
Hotel staff was extremely friendly! They also know of an awesome steakhouse near by (downtown Lakeland). Pool area needs a little work (maintenance). Pool staff seemed to have a hard time keeping the pool clean from blowing leaves. King size bed was very comfy! Continental breakfast could be beefed up by adding a few hot foods (waffle maker, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy and maybe some breakfast meats).
